Default Most hated person ever associated with the Raptors - Round 1/Matchup 2

A seemingly bumbling fool and lame duck GM or a crook with an eye for talent, but with the managerial skills of a tic tac...

Babcock, no contest! He wishes he can be a tic tac.

Isiah and it shouldn't even be close.

Thomas upped and left. Just got up and walked out on the franchise in a time of need. Oh and took with him his star young player and any possible good reputation the team had / pushed the franchise back in the process.

Babcock was an inexperienced GM who made a bad trade (a very bad trade), but Thomas gave the franchise a bigtime F.U. by leaving everyone high and dry. He quit on the team, city and fans. Fucking QUITTER.

I remember watching Thomas on TV (i believe at the Vince Carter dunk contest) when grunwald and the rest of the franchise had done a good job in restoring its reputation and credibility and douche Isiah had the audactiy to say he had a hand in the raptors' success at the time.

jeff doesn't remember Isiah's tenure. He was still a Leafs fan back then.

Isiah is a failure as a human being. I loved him as a player, but once he stepped off that court he was just a mess.

babcock...
why? because isiah was instrumental in getting a franchise in toronto... and regardless of what he did afterwards, he was a main reason why the Raptors exist.
and yes he left us high and dry, but it was mainly because the head honchos didnt make him GM... and he didnt get along with those guys.
luckily for us, he didnt become GM, and drive us into the dirt like NY, but thats beside the point.. he helped get this franchise off the ground and made some big rookie drafts in his day.
babcock, well he was the polar opposite in draft knowledge.... and since he was our GM in our darkest days as a franchise, he gets my vote as 'hated'.

just to clarify, Thomas was already the GM. He wanted to buy a majority stake in the Raptors and when his bid was rejected, he said "ah fuck it" and left town.

A lot of people will vote for Babcock simply because he was "associated" with the drafting of Araujo and the trading of Carter.

But with Isiah, you have to remember that he just upped and leftthe team. In the middle of the season.
