![]() I'm just a simple basketball fan that loves this game and as a basketball fan of course I'm going to watch NBA. Now I haven't really saw a thread like that this pre-season so I'll give it a shot. ''Who do you think will be a most exciting young team to watch this year?'' I'd say there are few including some like:
Raptors, Wizards, Wolfes, Cavs, Rockets, Kings, Blazers. Other. I listed these teams that didn't made the Play-Off's, got high draft picks and are in rebuilding mode or midway trough it. So if I have to choose 3 it would be. 3)If healthy, Wolfe's can finally do something worthy and at least finally make the play-off's. Ricky Rubio had an impressive start and became an double-double machine, with another double-double machine in Kevin Love, they have a potential to take Wolfe's to another level, well at least lead the team to the long awaited playoffs. 2) Second would be the raptors, as we got a really young team in which young players are getting much playing time, which is good. I really hope that comparing to last season Amir's DD's and Ed Davis numbers and efficiency will grow up. Also we got two new rookies T.Ross and JV, which I can't wait to see on the court. Kleiza & Bargnani has something to prove if they are looking forward to set they'r future in Toronto and of course, new signing's in L.Fields and K.Lowry should give positive results. I'm not sure if we are making PO's this season, but I hope so! Let's go Raps! 1) Sorry guys, some of you may agree, some of you may not, but for me the most interesting young team is going to be Rockets(don't ban me ![]() Now I created this thread, because as I said, I'm just a fan and it would be interesting to see or what people thinks we stand comparing to the other young teams. In those teams I listed I see Raptors as a 2-3 option. |

![]() disagree about the rockets, they will be a mess imo
Nobody has a fixed role there and their lineup wil be in constant motion ... Other than the raps, the wolves and the cavs are my two teams to watch, really looking forward to see waiters and irving together One other team i don't get the hype for is utah, not sure why so many people are so high on them. |

![]() Yeah, Rockets #1 in that list. Mostly because I am Motiejunas' fan, but also because I watched their games in summer league and it was awesome
![]() ![]() That team will have big swings this season, but they sure look promising. Love's team will look interesting too. European roster, which I am fan of, is good, but what's too much is unhealthy. I still say they won't make the playoffs. I don't think that Raptors is a young team though ![]() |

![]() Golden State will be fun to watch, not sure Denver counts as "young" but that will be a great team to watch. Other than that Memphis, Cleveland, Indiana will be fun young teams to watch.

Our possible starting lineup: Lowry (26) Derozan (23) Fields (23) Bargnani (26) Valanciunas (20) Valanciunas probably doesn't start but whatever. Also, Ross is 22, Davis is 23, Amir is 26, Acy is 22 i believe. How anyone can say we're not young I don't know. |

![]() This team should be fun to watch imo. Hell last season was a pretty fun team to watch for a team lacking talent. We played hard and had a lot of close games. This is the first season in years that I'm starting to get really excited about this team. Can't wait to see Lowry, Valanciunas, Ross and Fields play. I think we'll be one of the more exciting young teams in the EC.

To me, it has to do with the tempo..... there is very little to get excited about when a team consistently slows the game down and uses the whole clock in the half-court. (one of Jose's flaws, for sure, imo) Hopefully the word on JV is good and he will be pounding up and down the court, creating opportunities for quick buckets. |

Well, the one thing Casey keeps saying is that with Lowry we will be an up tempo team and the our improved defense needs to lead to more offense and that we can't allow defenses to get set. Sounds good to me. Imo, adding Lowry, Ross and even Valanciunas to the likes of Derozan should make us a much more up tempo team. Even guys like Amir and Bargs can get up and down the floor. |

![]() It'll be exciting to watch all high-drafted rookies. I'm surprised no one mentions NO.
Denver are always exciting. Rockets will not be either exciting or successful. I'm curious about Kings now they have a super SF ![]() Celtics, our big brother, are intriguing this year. But of course, the masochists, which we are, Toronto games will be most exciting for us and maybe least for everyone else. |

![]() out of the young teams that didnt make the playoffs id say the top 3 most exciting ones (not including the raptors) would be Wolves, Cavs and Warriors (damn that coin toss).

![]() I think this season is going to be best in decade! There is so many things to wait for, LA, MIA and OKC battles, Davis' injury, Valanciunas being runner up at ROY after D-Mo, Raptors making playoffs, Jose getting traded.
Also it seems like 80% of teams got better so it should rise the level of play and a level of excitement watching the games. Only bad thing about this coming season is that I live in an ugly time zone, where I need to stay awake all night and go to sleep @7AM if I want to watch the games ![]() |
