Moon's Dunk Plans Foiled

So, I didn't realize that using a teammate was a must for the competition. If it wasn't, then we would likely seen the dunk that he was bragging the most about. :(

That was news to Moon.

"They never told us the teammate dunk had to be in the first round," Moon said. "I was going to save that dunk for last so I would be good and warmed up. I probably would have had a little sweat by then."

The 2 ball 360 would of been absolutely ridiculous.

man, damn officials, Moon was right, if he had done his dunks he should have won.

nothing like excuses, sure sign of champions... i guess the league told every1 but him, right?

Moon is full of shit... I like the guy and all but he is a moron... if you ever watched any NBA dunk competition you would know that they have to use a team mate in the first round... instead of going for a stupid long jump he should have done 360+ with Kapono throwing him the ball while he is about to jump... simple but effective... he was tied for 2nd with Green and only needed to score more then him to go to the Finals and then he could've done any dunk he wanted...

that's just a mean comment -moon is not that type of person.

And, if I remember correctly, Howard was all whining and bitching last year, swearing that he will never compete again because they wouldn't change the rules for him. So what does that make him?

I watch it every year, and I had no idea it's a requirement. I'm not even sure if this is not the first year they made it a requirement.

I watched Carters dunk competition 7 years ago and I still remember that. Moon is a moron, but w/e see what happens next year.

That's a little harsh. I wouldn't say he's moron because of using poor judgement with the tape, but more that he made a "rookie" mistake. ;)

ahh shoulda woulda coulda. too bad so sad.

Either way Moon was robbed. seriously. and i don't think i'm being a homer at all. His teammate assisted dunk was better than any other one that i saw.

The WORST was fucking green and his STUPID fucking ladders. My wife was watching it with me she thought the ladder shit was so lame as well. There was no difficulty involved in it at all.

Moon on the other hand caught the ball with one hand and covered the biggest distance of the whole contest on that dunk.

His biggest mistake was using that tape. Other than that he got robbed.

(oh but when howard steps a foot past his tape - he still gets perfect scores. go figure.)

Sorry to go off topic for a moment, but how weird is it to say "wife" and not girlfriend fancy? I think this is the first time you've address your better half as wife here. Ahhhhhh .... our fancy is growing up right in front of our very eyes. :crying:

OK, enough of that mushy shit. :grrr:

*grabs nuts and spits on floor*

My thing on the dunk contest is that Howard used creativity to enhance his amazing, physical dunks... Green used creativity to mask boring non-special dunks which is not what the contest SHOULD be about. That cupcake dunk was lame..the actual dunk part of it. I'm glad Howard was voted in...he solidly deserved it.
