I Love Jamario Moon. He's one of the smartest players on our team and next year he will win MIP.

I'm dead serious - I do believe he will become a beast next season. What I'm afraid is that Bryan will make the same mistake he made with TJ. He didn't realize we already had a gem in the rough, and went after TJ.

Milk, you really believe that Jamario is one of our smartest players? You're gonna have to qualify that statement.

my take:
Defensively, Jamario is one of our "smartest" players. there hasen't been one player to
outshine him in this regard.
On the offensive end he is struggling and making some bad decisions though.

I think he has incredible talent.

I also think that he is in over his head right now, alot to absorb this year.

He'll be a very good piece of the puzzle.

(i say, HGH Jamario, it works, psst, tell Bargnani and meet me in the gym at 7am)

YUP

Time to man these outta shape pussies up

I think he has talent I don't think he has the IQ to use that talent. That's where I think he'll fall below expectations.

I love anyone who works hard, and Jamario has and probably does, but sometimes a spade is a spade and I think we want Jamario to BE that player we need. I just don't think he has that ability.

when I say smart, I say it in the traditional sense, not necessarily basketball wise. Everytime I hear him talking with the media, he seems very sharp and his interviews are by far the best on our team.

well I thik he plays great defence, and most guy on here that say he doesn't haven't got a fucking clue what they are talking about.

The dude plays hard, and play alone, no doubles for Jamario. If his guy hits a fucking jumper everyone is on his ass about stepping up.

Ever seem whats behind him....eesh, not exactly a wall of doom.

And speaking of offensive mistakes - I think he actually makes the right decision quite often. People don't like him to shoot, because he's so athletic. But the reality is, everybody plays off him, they dare him to shoot and very often he is wide open. Plus, he's not very skillled with the ball, so trying to force the issue could lead to a high amount of TOs. Jamario makes very few turnovers btw, which is another sign of a smart player imo (although it also shows he's afraid to take too many risks).

I think Moon has a lot to learn, but if he's willing to put the effort, he can be very good.

If Andreea had Moon's stats during last season, with a few more points, he would have been ROY ... If Moon is 22, everybody would be in love with him.

Yes, he's 27, but he's still a rookie. There are 2 aspects (at least) to rookie players: they don't know the game, so people forgive them many mistakes thinking they will learn. The other is the body, you're supposed to get a better athlete . Thing with Moon is,he's already a very gifted athlete - if he stays the way he is right now he's fine, but he's probably going to get stronger next season, having access to NBA-level nutritional programs. The other thing is his skills. Just because he's 27, it doesn't mean he's an idiot now and can't learn anymore. He's just as capable of learning as Andreea is. With the proper care from the team, he can improve in a lot of areas.
