MLE Options?

I would think Colangelo will make sure that he has the MLE/LLE available as he usually does. Here is the list of FA, restricted and otherwise. Who would you want BC to take a run at. Obviously all depends on what happens in the next few weeks, with Bosh, Hedo, Jose, Draft. But who interests you.

Travis Outlaw would be my first choice, especially if Hedo isn't here next year.

Hakim Warrick and Brendan Haywood also interest me but I've heard Haywood is leaning towards re-signing with Dallas.

I'd look at Louis Admundson and Ike Diogu..if we get rid of one of the PGs, I'd also look at Steve Blake.

i can't believe i'm about to type this, but if the raps can't get rid of hedo, i would strongly consider nate robinson. he matured a lot with the celts, he can create and penetrate, and he can be a big time scorer. depending on the price tag and the state of the grey metter inside his melon, we could use a guy like him.

shoot me now.

Outlaw and Haywood are out. Both are going to be looking for paydays. Haywood is probably going back to Dallas as well.

Foye is restricted, Jeff. I'm sure Washington would match salaries.

Making a run at Foye would be pointless unless it was near of the free agent period and most guys have been snapped up. But really, is Foye better than Jack? Calderon? Derozan? Is it really prudent to throw 6-7 mil a season for the guy coming off the bench?

Outlaw won't get a payday. He only played 34 games last year and struggled doing so. He has never proven to be a starter, with only two seasons plus 10PPG. Could be a good buy low situation for the raps, he is also only 26, so his prime years (if health checks out) are ahead of him.

And Foye could probably be had from the Wizz. John Wall and Gilbert have similar body's, I bet washington wouldn't be oppose to losing Foye for a larger wing player.

Also Dallas has not been keen on keeping Haywood. They don't like his work ethic and personality - i read this on espn rumours about 3 weeks back (questionable weight)

Outlaw and Haywood might not get their paydays, but their agents are certainly gonna be looking for it. They're going to stress Outlaw's length and potential and they're gonna emphasize Haywood's length, size and the stats he put up this year. I think both are gonna sign for just above the MLE.

Foye could be had from the Wiz, but as part of last year's trade with Minny that was all for not, I think they'd want to save face on it a bit, and would only get rid of Foye if they could get something of value in return.

You're right Mango, both Outlaw and Haywood's agents will be selling them hard, but in such a competitive market as the 2010 F.A. class is bound to be, both players could easily slip through the cracks and be in one year + option contract situations.

Foye isn't a good fit for the raps anyways. His shooting is inconsistent, he isn't a good on-ball defender - pretty similar to Jack.

Nate works in BOS because they have the personalities to control him.

I think he'd be a disaster here though.
