Meet the best 13-year-old basketball player you'll ever see, and he's canadian..

Mr. Wiggins appears to already have a fine-tuned post game; he's taking drop steps and hitting little baby hooks with both hands. This actually makes sense: Wiggins, a Canadian citizen, is the son of former NBA player Mitchell Wiggins and Marita Payne, an Olympic track star from Canada. The two met when they were student-athletes at Florida State.

highonpsi 10-20-2009 09:03 PM

Who is the best 13-year-old basketball player in Canada and has 2 thumbs?.....This guy! :D

highonpsi 10-20-2009 10:45 PM

I think his parents are going to buy him an H2 Hummer on his 16th birthday.

Rye 10-21-2009 11:00 PM

all he did was dunk and block a few shots (8th grader shots)

time to play him with the high schoolers and see how he does, you have to give these guys a challenge.

Hopefully Leo Rautins is in contact with this kid to get him to be the future star of canada

Nash has played enough for canada its tome for guys like Jermaine Anderson and the younger core of the team to take over. Nash has represented Canada with pride and if he does play for canada again I hope its because no one pressures him or gives him a guilt trip. Canada's current team is very solid and our younger under 19 and developmental teams are doing very well internationally. Only bright things ahead for Canada Basketball.

He's already on Grassroots Canada's 16-Under team, Leo's definitely got an eye out, drooling.

I played against him 3 or 4 year ago (he was about 5'6 then). And I got a autograph from his father. (Also challenged him into 3 point contest... he said if he makes his first shot he's not gonna play and he did :()

N64 10-22-2009 05:52 PM

They should call him Ender.

10gizzle 10-22-2009 06:17 PM

Hmm...

I played against this kid like a year to a year and a half ago at my gym...

He was then 6'4-6'5 at the very least, really athletic but still really weak cause of his frame. For some reason I remember someone there telling me he was like 14 back then...

Still the kid is very athletic...he almost dunked on me too...until I rejected him.

AP we miss you!!!!!!!!!!! 10-22-2009 07:50 PM

So doe this mean that kid from Brampton Ontario isnt going to be are future in Canadian basketball?
