let's see how he does with the big boys. A won round and absolutely, has to be.

even a good fight and a respectable bow out, and bring him back. But if we see we lose the series based on boneheaded late 4th quarter plays and not making the other team adjust but adjusting to them, then we should look at the other options. it's a good FA year for coaches.

While I still think we could have a better coach, I have to give him some credit. He makes some seriously bone-headed Xs and Os decisions but he seems to have struck a chord emotionally with this group. So if we manage to have a satisfying post season he should get a short extension.

As much as I was calling for Casey's head at the beginning of the season, I have to admit he did a great job this year. I agree with Metallikid that we still could get a better coach, but I'll gladly give Casey another season as he has earned it.

This is the same coach that everyone called out from the beginning. It's insane how that has changed in a short period of time.

Doesn't matter to me what happens in the playoffs, he should be back. It is his first experience in the post season. He is, like some players in the roster, in development.

Now he'll have to show that he can do the same good job next year, with a better concurrence in the east. He earned respect all around the league and he is a big part of the Raptor's success this year. Up to him to live up to the hype next year.

His x's and o's are fine. I seem to see this team score just about every possession out of a timeout. Once Ross becomes a go-to guy it will be nuts.

And i've never wavered in my liking of him.

You are mistaken on out of the timeouts plays, IMO. In fact, since the defensive slippage started about a month ago, I'd say his overall coaching can only be described as average.

I still don't see Casey as a coach of the contender. It's not like the team's personnel is there, either, but I wouldn't extend him for more than a couple of seasons, and if a better coach becomes available....

JVG and SVG are two names that pop to mind when thinking about coaching options...

I'm not sure JVG wants to coach, he's had plenty of opportunity to come back.

Would like SVG here,he could help this team get to the next level. Adelman may be fired by the Wolves,he interests me as well but I'm fine with Casey remaining.
