Default Lucas Hired As Basketball Development Consultant

Definitely a good person to have around for the remainder of this season.

i like him. he seems to be pretty intense behind the bench and quite vocal in his cheering.

Never hurts to have more great basketball people running the show or behind the scenes.

Why do we need another coach ? What has Lucas done to deserve to be hired as our development of the players’ on-court skills. Why are we wasting money ?

He's been helping your "favourite" player with rehab and to get back on his feet again. I think BC and the Raptors coaching staff think its a good idea to keep him around for T.J. but also alot of the younger players on this team. I think its a great idea.

Can he teach TJ how to shoot... I guess not...can he teach TJ to take good shots....I guess not......waste of freaking money. If TJ needs a shrink get him a doctor not a washed up basketball summer school coach.

Yeah ... Lucas appeals to alot of players in this league and has done wonders in turning around careers and helping players coming back from serious injuries. This goes far beyond what a shrink can do. Ford's getting the best of both worlds but what impresses me the most is that the Raptors care and not just shrugging it off like some us are trying to do.

Now why would you need another coach to kiss his baby fat goodbye. Hey I give up whats another guy in the coaches circle when they take a time out, adding another coach during circle jerk time while they smoke their joint will only create a smoke screen. Hey maybe at practice they can scrimmage the coaches vs the players.
