You can call him any word you want in place of " troll" -fanboy, groupie, whatever you want. Calling Bailey out as "I know you're a rookie " and "while I sit by my pool having a beer" tell you everything you need to know.

Considering every single one of his posts is about Calderons greatness and how he's God and anyone who comes in to his path will be stricken down(and his insulting of any players compared to JC), could you really find a better example of trolling that's gone on for this long?

It amazes me how many of you continue to respond and argue. This thread just shows how hard headed Raptors fans are, which can be great at times, but in this case, laughable.

If you remember Calderon signed for alot less to stay for Toronto. Remember BC telling the world that Calderon is going no where. Regarding the Bobcats deals change....just like we thought Nash was heading our way.

Yes TJ was having a great year but so was Calderon. Calderon brought the second unit to another level. I am not to sure how long you have been a Raptors fan you must remember how Calderon and the second unit would more times then not rally our team from being down to put us in the lead.

Hey you on to something right ....really i am surprised to finally see an NBA player not bitch and complain about management trying to move them. But then I am a fanboy who respects and supports Jose Calderon because as professional NBA player this guy loves his team the Raptors and he loves playing in Toronto Canada. When all other Raptors have jumped ship Jose Calderon truly bleeds Toronto.
If I'm not mistaken,Calderon signed a 5 year/45 million extention to stay in Toronto. I don't know which other team was offering more than an average of 9 million annually for him to play for their team, for him to take less money. Furthermore, the Raps were the team that could offer him the most money anyway.

I've been watching the Raptors since Alvin Robertson scored the franchise's first 2 points in regulation versus the Nets,as a matter of fact before that since they opened the Inagural James Naismith Game versus the Vancouver Grizzlies.

You're right, Jose played well off "the bench" anchoring the second unit. (here's my asshole response) I also remember him throwing away the series versus New jersey into the hands of Richard Jefferson after Sam Mitchell decided to go with him over Ford in the clutch. Since you remember so vividly the impact Calderon had coming off the pine, you of all people should have "NO" quams about him returning to that role behind Lowry.

Oh yea, with the Calderon/Chandler trade there was an actual agreement(verbally I believe) but after some hating from John Hollinger and other NBA writers, the Bobcats backed off

You can't really say the other guys jumped ship except Damon and Vince who demanded trades, and may be A.D. Everyone else either got dealt on management's account or left as a free agent, which they're entitled to do and what Calderon will likely do.

Now,I'm going to enjoy my beer in this great weather lol. At the end of the day, were all Raptors fans and supporters and should carry a positive mindstate when possible because there is already enough to be pissed about when it comes to this franchise. Colangelo made a good and necessary move to bring in Lowry so until he proves he does damage to the team,we should focus on the talent.

That's true and fine by me. Be supportive of Jose but there's no need to be this critical of Lowry before he's even played for Toronto. If I didn't know any better and believed Raps123,I'd think that Lowry is the second coming of Ron Artest, with a dash of Isaiah Rider in him.

Jose will not be wearing a Raptor uniform again. Lowry was promised the starting role to get him to come to Toronto in the trade. Jose is not happy and rightfully so. Time to get Jose Calderon fan appreciation thread started.

BC has no choice but to trade Calderon. BC will lose his job if he keeps Caldy around because Caldy being the better point guard will out shine Lowry. Everyone would be crying for BC's head for giving up a 1st rounder for Lowry. Now with Calderon showing that hes not happy with the trade for another point the pressure is back on BC. The league now knowing that Caldy is not happy could put BC in a vulnerable position in trade talks.
Calderon has the biggest balls on the Raptors..... finally after all his dedication to the team and the city of Toronto enough is enough. Too bad he never had alittle Lowry in him and say" I am the foundation bring in some quality players."

Everybody has a choice to make.

BC can easily choose to hold on to Jose and see how things work out with him coming off the bench, and likely will.

Jose can easily choose to accept his new (old) role and become a veteran presence off the bench, and likely will.

And everyone here attacking Raptor123 for supporting his favourite player and calling him a troll can easily choose to let him have his say without throwing some mud his way.

Jeff, in particular...

123 loves the mud. It his badge of nobility. It means he's gotten the attention he craves. Better than attention on merit.

Perhaps. My personal take on the proceedings is largely affected by my opinion of the throwers...
