Call me a pessimist but I think Lowry is a goner.

agree, there were couple of interviews like that. He always says ''I don't think about it, now'' BS! You are going to be a free agent, you do think about it..

That seems to be the standard answer for most athletes.

He was pretty non-commital about his future. It doesn't mean he's necessarily a goner. However, it's certain that he's not ready to even state that he would like to remain with the team. He's probably aware of how emotionally unstable Raptors fans are and therefore doesn't want to say anything at the risk of being called on it later. I guess it depends on the market for him, money he's offered and how well we finish off the season.

This will be the first time he will be a UFA and have any kind of clout i believe. If i'm not mistaken his last deal was an extension with Houston. He's going to take advantage of the situation like anyone would. He'll be in his 30's when he's a FA again and by then who knows where he will be in his career. He will absolutely test the market.

There`s no way he could say anything else. If he`s here all year, he`s a FA because that`s the CBA. And he wouldn`t say anything about whether he`d stay because that would give up leverage. He did admit in another interview that he`s completely open to all options. This interview is standard player talk.

and I wouldn't blame him for that. He has every right to see what's out there. Should be an interesting summer in Raptorland.

It was an agent prepared answer. Pretty much 99.9% sure. you can almost hear him trying to recite it.

Realistically, and professionally, he can't be thinking about it and shouldn't be thinking about it. It is in his agents hands. That's one reason they have agents. And yes the answer was standard prepared text offered by an agent, because anything else takes it out of his agent's hands and he might as well not have an agent.

If he were going to say that he was not going to test the market then he might as well sign an extension, but that makes no sense for him. He is going to test the market, but that doesn't mean it won't be with the hopes of getting a good deal here. He is getting recognition here and he's found a good fit on a team that is ready to spend and get better. And Drake just might have some sway with him.

I still think he will be traded by the deadline...

As nice as MU talks and sounds he is ruthless when it comes to trading players.

Look at what he did to Nene
