Nash- Blow your capspace on a 38yr old PG

Lowry- Would have one or two mid 1st rounders in return, would still have most of our capspace + Tradeable assets/Amnesty to go after a SF.

Are we fuckin' kidding here? I love Nash, but come on!

Yeah if we don't get Lowry because of Nash I'll be pretty ticked.

I'm starting to think the deal might be left on the table until early next week. If we don't get Nash maybe a deal can still be worked out. Ridiculous! It never ends with this team, nothing is ever easy.

Well said. BC would be moronic to think signing Nash would be better for this team.

Dude i like Waiters, but Lowry + Ross, Marshall, P. Jones, Leonard is better imo. Waiters is a bench player on our team behind Derozan and is far from a sure thing.

Hold on folks... If I was BC and was in negotiations with Houston, I would play the Nash card too. It doesn't mean there's any truth to it. Leverage is everything.

DeRozan isn't improving, its time to open new doors.

You're delusional if you think we draft Waiters and he starts at SG ahead of Derozan next season. Not going to happen.

I kinda agree with that, but we all know that we are not going to get anything worthy in return so we have to hope he will become better

I don't think that happens.

The teams are exchanging picks, so the deal needs to happen on draft night or not at all.

They can't just draft the guys they think the other team wants and hope everything works out.

nash would be fun, would attract media attention and may encourage other players to play here. he's good for player development and great for leadership. i would be thrilled if he became a raptor. he's time limited, and you need a long-term plan if you are going to use your cap space to get him.

lowry has a chance to be the pg going forward. he plays hard and smart, and is a good defender. he's a solid choice, with better long-term potential. he's a starting calibre nba player.

if you can get nash and still have the pick to trade (with another player) for a starting sf, that might be a good choice. if you can trade the pick to get lowry and still get that sf, i'd be all over it.

if these are an either-or, this may be a great off-season.

Everyone's going to ignore you Dan because you're being logical :P

But I'm still in the Nash boat, must have!
