Frank is a lot of fun when he invites his friend Andrew W. over to party, but Frank might also have Herpes. Maybe the boring guy who doesn't look sexy is a good longterm partner. Sure, he's not cool right now, but he's big on gradual self-improvement, and over time as chemistry develops, he might make a good boyfriend.

Except behind Frank the Tank there's Jabari Parker, Harrison twins, Randle, Smart, and a ton of other great guys. nvm I'm not good with these analogies.

I guess the boring guy can go through some organic growth like how DD is sucking balls in the US scrim.

ewing is another option, since he's already into coaching. I have a hard time seeing Jabbar leaving LA for TO just to coach JV. If it's just a temporary thing, not a full time assistant coaching though, it would make it much easier for him to take the gig. Another good guess would be Sabonis given the LT connection.

Either way, this is great news for JV and us.

not necessarily
I thought coming into the job, there was a heavy preference for tanking. But, it's very possible that as the off season progressed, and they realized that trading gay/lowry and setting us for tanking is not going to be easy and may not be achievable at all, they've decided to switch course, or at least hold the boat for a few months and see what opportunities come up.

Or how about this for a dream scenario. They secretly met with wiggins and convinced him to stay another year in college and we're going to set ourselves for tanking next season ... All it takes is some pull at the nba offices to make sure we get the #1 pick

Nope. He's currently president of Lithuanian Basketball Federation and with Eurochamp coming he's really busy man. It's very likely tho he will again join NT training camp to give some tips to JV and others.

Ewing is with Charlotte as the associate head coach.

During the season he'll be available right? Steve Nash is GM of Canada's team and he still plays for the Lakers.

I suspect that Ujiri, being a GM who likes to work under the radar, doesn't appreciate his boss being such a loudmouth lately.

I'd prefer Hakeem / Ewing / Sabonis, seeing how they actually have some experience with this type of thing.

Or just get a big man coach who's not an all time great but can actually coach this stuff well.

Kareem has done some coaching I think. Isn't he nearly 70?
