So... you don't see a downside, right? It's like letting him expire, but three months early - so we get that cap space during draft time to help with draft day deals. Plus we get a second round pick - which could and will likely be useless, but could potentially be a Manu Ginobili, for example.

I might go for it if we could get Bill to take Leo's place doing games.

As for the quality of the pick, I don't think it's that much to worry about at the moment. I would guess that unless they have their eye on someone that could go that late, that there's a good chance one of the 2nd round picks gets thrown in in a future trade.

If we were trying to win games, he would've been a great addition to our team.

Good luck in Indy, stay away from Granger.

That tweet was from Jan 25. Raps must have played Phoenix that day because he also thanked the Phoenix fans.

Leandro played with a ton of heart. He played injured most of last year! That last Cavs game he was diving for balls, and making huge blocks. It was a joy to watch. Slack-asses like Boris Diaw could learn a lot from the effort and heart that Barbosa played with.

Barbosa might not have been the perfect fit for the Raptors but hopefully he showed them something about playing with effort every single game.

Barbosa is a great energy guy of the bench, he can always find ways to score. He can also hit shots that no one else would on the team. We seen him so many times beat the buzzer with a crazy difficult shot. All the best to Blur in the new team!

PS. Mods might want to fix the mistake in the title (it says thead instead of thread)

Just wait until we sign back Reggie and Barbosa!!! But seriously I have an odd feeling that we will most likely attempt to sign him back during the off season

I'm still surprised that we only got second round pick for Barbosa.

a late 1st round pick is a crap shoot and is guaranteed money.

Are there any players that you think might be surprise from this pick? Any undiscovered talent?

I don't even think we'll use it and if we do the player will be dealt or not signed imo. No way BC keeps 2 2nd round picks on our roster next season.

I'll probably cheer for him in the playoffs. He helped take Hedo off the books.

sad to see him though, but I get it. He's useful to a contender, we're tanking etc etc.

I'd bring him back in the summer for the right price, maybe MLE money?
