Question Last 3 wins: Who gets the credit?

Many of us (myself included) have been quick to lay blame at the feet of any and every part of this organization.... but looking at how the team has bounced back over these last 3 games... one has to wonder.... what happened? Who do we have to thank?

The players.

To a man they were embarassed after that debacle in ATL and they started finally getting pissed and have since banded together and have started comunicating on D and are simply gaining confidence in one another.

lol... classic. Coach gets the blame when they lose and the players get the credit when they win. You think JT is telling them something different in games that they win?

And yet not a single vote has been cast for Triano - all of the votes are either for BC giving some unbelievably motivating speech, or the players manning up. I voted for the latter.

yeah... i was mostly pointing out how ludicrous it was to be calling for the coach's head after an early season losing streak.

I'll give him a bit of credit. Even though i still am not liking some of his decision making/play calling. He seems to have grown a pair after a few players basically called him out for being too nice and quiet. He's improving, as is the team.

well the players deserve the credit for finally working

but BC and Triano put everything in place for the players to be successful, BC brought the talent and Triano brought the systems all the players had to is believe

it is still to early to tell if its a real turn around

Jack, Bosh, and Wright. They claimed status quo was not enough, they wanted changes from the coaching staff, and they demanded accountability from their team mates. Do you think this team would have played differently if these three players remained silent. Fans wanted leaders to speak up, these guys spoke up.

I'm inclined to give players the credit because by all accounts the players are showing effort more than they have in the past.

we've seen guys dive for loose balls on the court... we've seen guys not named Chris and Amir go into traffic and fight for rebounds... we've seen players defend with more pazzazz... There has definitely been a greater sense of urgency in their play.

How much of that was a result of Colangelo chewing them out, Triano getting on their backs, or even just the players getting on eachother's backs? Who knows and who cares... it's there now so let's hope this effort and desire stays.

I think these players deserve some of the credit... they were gettting blasted for not caring and playing without emotion and were being written off by lots of people. I knew they had some pride and it's good to see it show.

I picked the players as well.

That's who I was laying blame on so it only makes sense that I give them props now.

I have to admit that I was starting to doubt Triano's ability to motivate (I still believe in his X's and O's) but I'm happy that that no longer seems to be an issue. And I can guarantee that BC is breathing a sigh of relief lol.

The players should take the credit because they are the ones that got themselves in this mess to start with. Their crying and complaining just forced management including BC to jump in and sort it out. If you watched the games right after the meeting really nothing changed with regards to playing time. The players have picked up their game , however we really played some teams that really struggled and played bad against.

The game against Minnie both teams were just terrible on O. Did both teams play great d lol not a chance both teams shot the ball poorly. If anything they did have the better looks. Our O was dead. There were no ally hoop passes for dunks, there were no pg blow byes by our guys. Could not hit a 3 ball. Without Bosh we would have lost this game.

i voted 'luck/easy sched'.
realize that we've had the toughest schedule to start the season, we've had 9 new players. we needed time to gel and each guy needed to acclimate with each other and the new system.
we are a very deep/talented team, and have always been good... it looks to me as if we are starting to play at the level we all expected over the offseason, and now that the schedule is lightening up and we are playing weaker opponents; we are starting to roll.

we had a few bad loses earlier on in the year and i think it really affected our confidence... it took 3 crap teams in a row to get that confidence back. i see good things from here on out. sure, the meeting was good, im sure traino/bc chewed the boys out plenty, but the reality is - we played a few week opponents and thats just what the Doctor ordered, IMO.
