Landry Fields showing off the handle!

:yeah:

moremilk 11-02-2013 11:16 AM

he did that in the preseason too, very deceptive :)

Rene_13 11-02-2013 11:55 AM

Best part of last night's game hands down.

carp 11-02-2013 12:10 PM

wow, nice to see a wing explode to the rim and finish in traffic off his own creativity

TORaptor4Ever 11-02-2013 12:19 PM

His ballhandling is definitely an underrated part of his game.

Time for him to play some Point-Forward? :jack:

let's just start by taking some of the minutes and shots away from Gay and DD, and pass them down to Landry and Ross. Less could be more for the starters. More could be more from the bench.

I really liked his style as a rookie. He is not a superstar but he is a great guy to have.
Last year he was horrible due to injury + BCs contract we were all bitter, but the guy has skills when healthy.

Landry was good tonight as well. I'm very impressed with his off the dribble game. Looks like he's back to his old self after the hand/elbow issues from last year.

andris213 11-03-2013 07:35 PM

his shot looks way different in that video

Thug 11-03-2013 11:02 PM

He actually does useful stuff this year.

Fröz-d 11-03-2013 11:10 PM

I  Landry

andris213 11-03-2013 11:15 PM

It is funny how quickly raptor fans have change of hearts a week ago this thread sure would have been different

I told you guys Fields would be worth the keep! :cookie:

Still not earning the contract perhaps but he's showing signs of getting there. :yeah:

creative1mm 11-04-2013 12:59 PM

if he had a jumper like Anthony Parker, then he would be worth the money lol

100% agree.....usually I get roasted for saying it but fans just needed to be patient (though to be fair, a few of us were saying that about AB:jack:)

LF will continue to get back to where he was in college and rookie season in the NBA. A number of rap players can learn from LF and how he moves without the ball....the shooting will come as his confidence grows, you can almost see it happening while he's playing.

I can only judge the guy based on what i saw last year and that was absolutely GOD AWFUL, so if he's capable of being decent (as in not sucky) then giddy up.

LX 11-04-2013 02:33 PM

I'm really excited about his ballhandling, passing and playmaking more than his movement off the ball. Through the time he had no shot he took the opportunity to expand his game.

You haven't watched this season?

Landry Fields cares. He works hard. He's got heart and hustle, you can't teach that. I think going through what he went through will make him a much better player in the long run. I am not opposed to trading him as I am all in on the tank, but keeping him around to instill heart and work ethic into the young guys isn't bad either. I trust Ujiri!
