Landry Fields- over/under 8.5ppg

Will Landry Fields average more or less than 8.5ppg?

m5racer 09-06-2012 11:47 AM

If he starts, over. If he comes off bench, under

He'll be starting, at least to start the season.

But imo he'd get more points coming off the bench rather than being the 4th option in the starting lineup. Best case scenario, AP type numbers. But i think he's likely in the 8-9ppg range.

Probably over but not by very much. I'm thinking slightly less than 10 ppg.

pzabby 09-06-2012 12:06 PM

I believe he'll surprise a lot and average between 13-14, due to his shooting stroke coming back, and chip in roun 5-6 boards and 4-5 assists. this kid's a great player, everyone has a dud season. hell, bargnani had what, 5?? :reporter:

STFU :cookie:

Seriously, I think he'll surprise many as well and get his shot back. He averaged 8.8ppg in his 'dud' season, I think this year he'll be closer to 12ppg. I also agree with Jeffb, IF Landry comes off the bench he will be more effective with JC IMO

LKeet6 09-06-2012 01:02 PM

i'm saying around 11ppg.

Can I have 11.1 Bob...? :cookie:

wchoi213 09-06-2012 03:13 PM

Expecting around 11 PPG, 6 RPG, 1.5 SPG in 28~ minutes.

INSIDER 09-06-2012 03:46 PM

he should have zero difficulty getting 10ppg.
his dirty work alone should get him 8.5 a night.... everything else will be a bonus.

haha, sneaky!

dfunkie1 09-06-2012 06:16 PM

over with 9. he won't get plays ran for him, but he'll be there enough to sneak free or bail out either the shot clock or a failed penetration.

Do you honestly think he won't get plays ran for him?

halphbreedballer 09-06-2012 11:29 PM

I've voted over for all the polls so far LOL

Toby 09-07-2012 02:24 AM

over, 8.6

fancylad 09-07-2012 09:54 AM

My god if he can't score in double digits consistantly than he'll truly be a failed signing.

I don't think he would be. You expect 4 out of 5 starters to be in double digits in scoring? Hell, if Valanciunas starts and has a decent season do you also think he'll be in double digits. If fields is our 4th option (in ths starting lineup) and gives us 9ppg/5rpg and plays solid defense I'll take it.

RaptorsandBuckeye FaN 09-09-2012 06:42 PM

Over. I think he will be double digits or close to it. 9.7-10.2PPG
