King of the Court: BJJS (3) vs. Acie
Topic: The Greatest Walk-Off

Amidst all the hoopla associated with the madness that is KOTC, people may forget that BJJS has already earned three quality wins for his KOTC resume. Can Acie pull off the upset and become the first to earn a berth in the semi-finals? Or will BJJS continue his run of absolute KOTC domination?

Both videos reflect the topic very well, you guys might have a tough time deciding a clear winner. Should kick off the quarter-finals nicely.

It's amazing how little 1992 and 1993 Jays content there is on YouTube.

I still get goosebumps when I see Joe's homer. Carter = Greatest Toronto Blue Jay ever.

This is a very arguable topic. Talent wise, I'd say Roy Halladay is better than Joe Carter. But Roy hasn't gotten the opportunity to show off what he can do in the post season. Plus pitching is a lot harder to do than hit a ball, especially when you play practically the whole game like Doc. It takes a lot out of you to throw 100+ pitches. Joe Carter was phenomenal, heck, he won us a freaking world series, but Roy Halladay strikes fear into hitters eyes. He is the most dominate pitcher this league has had for more than a decade.

i'm guessing you werent around during the hey days of the blue jays. because if you were, you'd know that nothing comes close to the team in 92 and 93. nothing.

I thought we were comparing Roy to Joe, not the 92/93 Jays to the Jays of today, because the world series Jays are the best. Period.

Like I said before though, it is a lot harder to throw a 90mph pitch 100 times than it is to hit a ball over the wall.

Lets just settle this though. Joe Carter = best Jays hitter
Roy Halladay = best Jays pitcher (Roger Clemens a very distant 2nd)

Actually Dave Stieb is the best Jays pitcher ever.

I thought the whole point was to use youtube clips, especially considering that the topic "greatest walkoff" will result in the Joe Carter 93 homer 99/100 times when given to members of a Toronto related forum; yet their isn't any clips of that homer on youtube, which only reinforced my assumption that we were supposed to use youtube clips. Greatest walk-off, both go looking for the Carter clip, Oh SNAP, it's not there, time to be creative.

After a good hour of scouring youtube, I was very close to going with this somewhat offensive re-enactment of the 93 walkoff.

By all means if I've violated the rules disqualify me.

I thought it could be a video clip from anywhere. It took me a long time to find that.
