Well rumour has it too that the Knicks are willing to offer Carlos $4+ million. So if that's the case, then Delfino is as good as gone in my opinion.

Yeah, I think he remains "restricted", which would give us a chance to match any offer. I'm pretty sure that Cap/Tax situations are calculated at the end of the year, so griff may be correct, in that the Raps may let him go, to avoid paying the luxury tax if the Knicks try and sign him.

Carlos Delfino is a very good player, I remember him here in Italy when he played for Fortitudo Bologna: fantastic. I think that in Nba he can be considered a good player, fast and able in defence, a super choice as 7h, 8h man if you want to put rithm and character on the court. But I think that for next year we need something better, a guard able to score and to defend... Delfino can be perfect for Dantoni's philosophy

Delfino is just not that good..why is everyone always talking about him is beyond me? It,d be an upgrade on this roster but then again Pops Bonsu is an upgrade here....Do u really want Delfino to be your starting player? the guy averaged what.. sorry 8 pts in like 25 minutes in his best season of his life (raptors)? In comparison say Ukic averages 5 in 10 mins.
he plays in russia for a shitty team right now. he is the highest paid europe player but he's just too average and a good back-up. |

![]() More of a misunderstanding regarding Carlos. No one has implied Delfino as a starter Money. ![]() |

With Delfino somewhere else now we can stop looking to the past and begin looking ahead at new players who can provide what this team has been lacking.

$4M+? Ugh. He's not even THAT good. I hope Colangelo doesn't match it. I'd rather bring guys into FA camp in the summer and sign one of those dudes for the bare minimum than sign Delfino.

Theres already too many overpaid guys on this squad, the last thing we need is another one in Delfino. I like Delfino an i think he can be a good contributor coming off the bench, but i would way rather see what other FA's are out there this summer, i am sure there will be plenty of good deals to be had.

peace carlos
![]() i was always kinda hoping we would address our wings in the draft and free agency. not having delfino gives us/me greater hope in having a worthy starter and 6th-7th man. |
