![]() Masai has said all the right things this past week. He's been very patient and could've easily made panic trades to help this team in the short term push for playoffs.

![]() As a fan, I have a problem accepting a loss due to a sub par performance. We've been getting our share of "poor efforts" since the break. Do you want us as fans, to make excuses for the team and not call it like it is!

![]() I believe in this team, but some things just disappoints some things just disappoint people, like running the same ISO play at the end of EVERY quarter, lack of effort sometimes and etc, and when there's room for improvement - we better improve, because that's how greatest victories are achieved. Nevertheless, go Raps!

![]() I think calling it like it is, is what he wants. But saying the team stunk that night or are struggling recently and taking it to "blow it up" territory is another thing all together. I guess he's asking for perspective and to not panic, forgeting how good this team has been for the better part of 16 months.

![]() While I agree with the overall sentiment, I was also never very high on this team and I still have serious concerns that mere tweaks could turn us into an elite team, capable of actually contending. Which doesn't bother me all that much, at least not yet. Winning 50 games for a few seasons is not the worst thing for a team that never did it in its previous 20 seasons or so.
Still, there's also danger if we take this point of view at face value (which I seriously doubt we should - masai is merely trying to calm things imo). Masai needs, and I'm sure he does ask himself the big question all the time. If he believes there is enough promise with this team that it's worth waiting for a stroke of good luck to push us over the top, then so be it. If not, more significant changes are required. The next 2 seasons will present a host of major challenges and opportunities, from demar's, JV and TR's extensions, to lowry's and amir's replacements, creating and using our potential max cap space and so on. It will be a very difficult time for Masai and probably very exciting for us, the fans ... ![]() |

![]() Yeah, i think he basically is saying he doesn't need all of us doing his job alongside him, while setting our hair on fire. That kind of excitement he probably doesn't need.

![]() Sometime I really hate our fan base and especially those trolls that goes on other team board and trash talking when we win; then when we lose they complain like a whinny little 7 year old our team suxs balls trade him fire the coach and etc; We have the whole country supporting us and it's nice and all but they are making us Torontonian look bad. Sometime people need use their brain; we're having a good season and going to the playoff; also back to back Atlantic division and hopefully a 50 wins 2nd round exit; just sit back and have fun and enjoy the playoffs

1. Casey sucks 2. JV is God 3. DD is a bad player and can't be a piece of a successful team. 4. JJ is our best defender and should start no matter what. 5. In MU they trust - even though he is responsible for some of the things they don't like about the team. Go figure. Last edited by Tommy C; 04-03-2015 at 12:13 PM. |

![]() I think that MU will do whatever it is necessary. Meaning if DD happens to be it, he will stay.. if not then trade. Same with the coach and the rest of the staff, plus players. But as of now he believes in them. The right time for everyone to start crying is when MU doesn't do anything right I think.
