Kapono Appreciation Thread

He was here for a couple season and had some good moments. Even though he never really fit into the system here, i was happy when we got him, and it's too bad it didn't work out.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

i'll say a thank you to jason.
i thought it was a good pick up at the time... unfortunately it turned out to be a bomb.

i respect the guy because he was a class act who never talked shit, never got into shit, and seemed like a stand up guy.
plus his wife is hot.
good luck Kap...

I think he'll do much better with the 76ers. They got good slashers so they'll definitely kick it out to Kapono for some open 3s.

Yeah it's unfortunate he never fit in with our system... what the hell is our system anyways? Anyways, he did hit 25 pts in the 3-point shooting contest as a Raptor lol. That will definitely be my fondest memory of him.

Remember that time he made that three in that game against that team? Good times.

He made me laugh once.

I expected so much more. Seeing him go to the basket and Jamario settle for threes was simply a nightmare.

Hopefully a fresh start will help him out. But hopefully not too much. I want Philly in the rearview mirror.

I like him. I think he could be pretty good player in a very specific situation. Too bad it wasnt here, good luck to him.

I wish him well.

He's a classy guy.

Toronto wasn't a good fit for him.

after watching that,
Orlando should have thought twice about giving the ball to Courtney Lee.

For some reason he got Matt Bonner syndrome and thought that he could attack the basket like Vince Carter in his prime.

Was a coolio cat and probably one of the only bright spots during the Orlando playoff series.

His Orlando series was awesome

Winning the 3 point shootout twice was too

Kapono to me is a guy who brings an excellent weapon if you know how to use it. He's one of the best pure shooters I've seen. We didn't have a system that got him shots, so he struggled. But I think he'll do much better in Philly with the Princeton and a lot of athleticism, penetration, and transition shots

will miss the guy, i liked him personally
but i understand the trade and i wouldn't say anything bad about it, we need the big men and he had an abundance of bench SFs
his 3s were sick and he was mad jokes but the big men we need
