two international prospects that pulled this, Rubio and Jianlian, so wouldn't be surprised if Kanter is being protected from everyone finding out he is over rated

BC said he has 7 players on his list, i think now it's 6.

i think about our pg situation since two or 3 days, and the answer is not in this draft.
so why not trade not for this draft but for the next where some canadian PG can be one of the best prospect available in 2012.
after all chicago has in own boy with rose, why a canadian team like toronto does not have such thing or did not have...

beside this, i think we can find in the league a better pg-ready-to-play.

so why not bring here by draft a SF or another PF/C.

Biyombu seems to me he has the more potential.
did you know he begin to play and one month after he play in his national team at 16 year.
and after a semi season in yemen, he goes directly in spain.

I don't like the skinny euro we see in the position to be in the lottery, not ready to play in nba, to raw, even worst than DD when he arrive.

so biyombu, with davis, amir and evans that can be a good young futur front court for the raptors. and more hope than a possible pg.

so biyombu our at least a SF defender like leonard.

or if BC can put a move to acquire the 2nd pick, that can change thing !

well, NBA is my third interest in basketball. So I am not a die hard fan, but I am CAVS fan. I like Raptors too, it's one of my favorite teams, just because it's from Canada. I would love to see Canada win NATIONAL basketball association. Yeah, I came here because of Kleiza, wanted to see what people think about him, but I have no stuff to do and I always has my hp with me, so I am here...

Just watch this guy be insanely good. I can't really be all that upset though. Maybe if we picked as high as 3. I never saw him dropping to fifth unless there were serious concerns. For all we know this snubbing amounts to little more than teams higher than 5 giving his agent word that they will be picking him if he's available. If that's the case, then I don't have a huge problem with it, on his part. The team or teams involved might need some bad karma coming their way.

I'm glad to see this. I'm really hoping we take Bismack or Knight. I really didn't want us drafting a guy with a injury history anyways.
If Knight falls then definitely taken him but I don't believe he will get past #4. More discussion we have the more I like Bismack, definitely can play both positions in the NBA. Love his defense, offense will eventually come. Bismack could allow the team the luxury of moving Ed or Bargs.

Aside from his size i dont really see what separates Kemba from Knight? People keep mentioning Knight (i know he's 6'3, and has lockdown defense) but what about the offensive burn of Walker? the guy avg'd 25-5-5 and yeah hes short but he's got the mobility to make plays and get people involved as well as creating his own shot...

i really think Knight and Walker should be the two highest on our draft board.

Defense is more important for this team. Besides, knight is a good 3pt shooter which is also important on this team since none of our wings can shoot from distance.

The prospect of getting an 18 year old "Jrue Holiday" type I find very intriguing.

The guy has a pretty killer stroke from far and in the midrange. I just see his game meshing well with the core we got...

I believe we'll end up taking whichever of the two guards - Walker or Knight - remain after Irving, Williams, Kanter/Valuncianas and one of the guards goes.

If both are somehow available I'd probably lean towards Knight's size but I would be satisfied with either.

If we draft either Knight or Walker i'll be satisfied. I just don't want to draft enes or jonas

Or you draft Kanter with the intent of dealing him to a team that wanted him but was drafting later in the round, and pick up an extra pick/player.

The team that drafts a player who won't play for them is always at a disadvantage, because the other teams hold all the cards.

It's not like Kanter is some proven star that teams will scramble to get. He's a complete question mark and if the Raptors drafted him with the intent to trade him they would not get much in return.
