And yes Valanciunas is better than Bargnani right now and for this team moving forward.
I don't understand why everyone tries to make it seem like you can only keep one? They play different positions and provide a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. If Bargnani can reach 20 points and 5 boards this year making 10 mill, that's not terrible thing and isn't "hampering" our franchise.

I could give a shit if they annoint VAL the go 2 guy, deservedly so, takes pressure off guys like Bargnani and Derozan who have tried to be "that guy" for the last couple years but aren't. They are good supporting casts, but not go 2 guys.

I still think "That Guy" is a SF we need to acquire through trade.

did you not read my post at all? the past 4 games he's wanted to. the extra weight is tying down his offence. His defence has been there, and so what if he can't rebound. we're a great rebounding team regardless of that. Bargnani has been putting in the effort. we have 4 players who could turn out to be great. there's something else wrong here, and we need to figure it out. My guess is DC needs to get his shit together, and LF when he comes back healthy, will act as that glue guy, and we'll go on a winning streak. you can quote me on this. LF will be the difference maker.bargnani needs to stop eating primo though!

For me its less about JV vs AB or AB vs DD or even Jose. I think its in the Raps best interest to trade Jose because imo he walks as a FA. I like him as a back up,just not the starter. Me saying JV is better is just responding to the thread title but I'm analyzing Bargs on his own and unless he's a 6 man(with starter minutes in a good game), I don't believe he's a good fit anymore. I think ED can be more effective as a starter with a vow of confidence from the coaching & managing staff. DD is still developing at just 23 years old but he's steadily improved each year, while AB has played twice as many seasons and still very inconsistent. I have a little more patience for DD because of that. Yes,the Raps need help at the 3,an AB trade may solve that problem to an extent.

we're an about average rebounding team. we're also 20th in the league in rebounding difference and 20th in the league in total rebounding percentage.
