Default Jose's response to Arenas' comments

Class act all the way which I'm not surprised, but I like Jose's little parting shot towards Gilbert and the Wiz.

Could this be the start of another rivalry?

He is a good player and I never had a problem with him. It is his opinion and I respect it, although, evidently I do not share it with him. We beat them the last time that we played against them and I expect that it will continue this way in the future."

Man, Jose hit Arenas hard on that last comment. Good on him.

Gilbert's gonna hit back saying that they beat a "Gilbert-less" Wiz team. Of course, he'll reference himself third-person. LOL.

Gilbert is a zero and will always be a zero. Guys like zero head just give the NBA player a bad rap. The wiz team is a better team without zero head for brains in the line up.

Kay, I think your exaggerating there raptor123. Sure he's blabber mouth, but to say the Wizards are better without him is ridiculous. I mean Eddie Jordan, Caron, Antawn and co. deserve a ton of credit for what they've done this season without Arenas, but I wonder where they'd be with him. I can guarantee that wouldn't be 2 games under .500.

What I don't like is how potentially scarey this team will be when he's back in the line-up in the next 3 to 4 weeks. Washington isn't going to be a team that any team in the East is going to want to go up against come playoff time.

don't pretend that you don't know that before butler got injured they were 5 games over .500. They had the same record after 42 games as they had last year. When Jamison got hurt last year, they went down in a hurry. When Butler got injured now, they are something like 0-10. When Arenas missed half a season, they played better ... I think it's quite obvious how valuable arenas really is.
