Thanks, DanH.
So it ends up being a good thing to acquire te TPE and then waive it for cap space, which has the benefit of not having the restrictions that a TPE does. Jose goes to an experienced team that will likely go to the playoffs and Dallas can use a PG, so everyone wins.....as long as the Raps turn this into something useful, because we would still need a back up for Lowry. Further, if the Knicks match for Lowry, even more money is freed up. AND we still have at our disposal the ability to amnesty someone. Hypothetical: 8 mil TPE + 6.3 mil Landry Fields no-go + 6 mil Amir amnesty = 20 mil. Welcome home, Dwight. ![]() Last edited by Ammo; 07-12-2012 at 11:22 PM. |

Fuck. I'll always love Jose no matter where he goes. He will deserve a standing O no matter. I'll fucking give him an applause even if he goes to Miami.

But yeah, it would be hard to see him go to Miami but it would give them a likeable player. |

I still think we should trade him for the pick, to a team that will potentially be in 20-10 range, we free up cap space have a pick in 2013 1st round (or two depending where we end up) save amnesty, have potential to end up with ~16mil capspace

Jose is arguably a top 10 pg given some talent, and not having him play with stiffs. Why are people willing to spend amnesty on him?
Beaubois is not even good, he's just a tweener like Bayless. Toronto doesn't deserve Jose lol... He's so under-appreciated. |

I +1'ed bro. I fucking love Jose so much that I dont' understand. He did well even with such a shit team last year. Sure I want Lowry to start now, lead the youth movement, but Caldy is awesome, and he will be missed.

He's so consistent and his playstyle is really becoming extinct in these newer players. Ffs what do people expect from him throwing the ball to the wings with the likes of DeRozan and Johnson? Or maybe in the post to Gray or Davis?
His numbers are lower, but how can you blame him if he's the most talented player on the court for the Raps on most nights while Bargs is hurt? |
