I sure hope he's right and that this doesn't become something much bigger.

Hopefully he takes a little extra time off. Making sure that going into training camp he doesn't have a set back.We really need him staying healthy this season.

Him not playing was great news in that it was clear that he wanted to be out there, and that could have really been something to worry about.

Let's assume that we'll see him hungrier than ever now.

And meanwhile Bosh seems to have made it through this thing without getting banged up, as physical as he had to play against guys much bigger and stronger. My sense of relief is huge.

So what's the "official word" on Jose's injury?

Just a groin strain?

Everytime I read a quote from Jose all I think about is the Raps TV commercial where he's standing ready to inbound the ball at MSG screaming, "Yoey, Yoey, Yoey, Yoey...I pass jew the ball."

That is my favourite Raptors commercial. I hear it's still just a groin strain ... he should hopefully be OK for training camp.

I liked the gatorade commercial in the playoffs where he said it is very important to drink a lot before games.

What about that "abductor muscle tear"? I mean, that's quite different from a sprain, isn't it?

I just wish we were told the truth for once, or at least fed a consistent bullshit...
