So it's all about numbers eh? Mike James should be in the hall of fame for his season in TO by the numbers! There's more to helping your team win than putting up statistical percentages. Jose's numbers are only good when you pick the ones you want shooting percentages and assist to turnover. He never scores enough points to really make an impact offensively. He's averaging what about 7 assists this year? The top guards average over 9. And we haven't talked defense yet.

Numbers can be decieving...and in this case, they are. If Jose seems completely healthy though, he should start. However, his leash should be very short, due to the fact anything less than a completely healthy Jose will be detrimental to the teams success defensively. That being said, I think he'll accept a role of the bench for the time being.

SWAN I hope you are not one of the many posters on here that think when a guy misses an open shot that its called good d ? I know you know your shit but come on Jack has not done anything to be our starter. Even Roko would have been able to win those games for us.

Anyway here is the update.

News: Raptors head coach Jay Triano expects Jose Calderon (hip) to return to action Wednesday, the Associated Press reports. Jack may get another few starts in place of Calderon, who has missed 12 of 13 with a sore hip, but this may be the last week you have him as a starter.

Sorry here is the link.

There it is Jose will be back starting. Really thats not what really scares me its that Jose, Hedo and Jack on the court at the same time that scares me. 3 guys that equally suck on d.

What is the point of dragging this thread out? To show that Jose was good two years ago?
