I'd take a shot with Randolph tbh.

well.. if Raptors got flynn.. then there would be no point in drafting a pg, you would have bayless starting and flynn playing backup

not necessarily. Raps are at a point where they should be collecting as much young talent as they can get and see which players can contribute to the future of the organization.

who knows if Flynn or Bayless are starting PG's in the league... they haven't proved it yet

In my opinion, I kinda don't like this if it were to go through.

First of all, if Calderon were to be traded, it would be pursued at a different position, as with the proposed trade last year with the Bobcats (for Diaw and others, I believe). Secondly, Jonny Flynn hasn't had enough playing time to make a name for himself. Plus, if I were to come to conclusions, I would say in the draft we'd go with either a guard with Knight or Walker, or go big.. more likely with a guard, though. If this were true, where will Jonny Flynn be in this mix? Jerryd might move up to a starting position, and our draft pick will come off the bench. Jonny doesn't seem like a bad enough value to be the third string point guard for Jose.

Just putting in my two cents haha!

don't know minnesota want to trade flynn

the can use him the same way dallas used barea off the bench, or even start rubio and play flynn in a scoring role while rubio sets players up,

we all know rubio has the size to guard 2's, and as seen in the olympics d's up with the best of them

No thank you. I'd much rather have Calderon/Bayless than Flynn.

The Knicks have had preliminary discussions with the Minnesota Timberwolves about a trade for point guard Jonny Flynn.

No formal deal is in place, but the Knicks are debating whether Flynn, the sixth overall pick of the 2009 draft would be a viable option to back up Chauncey Billups for at least one season. Flynn has become expendable now that the Wolves have signed Spanish guard Ricky Rubio, who was taken one pick ahead of Flynn.

Toney Douglas would likely be the player traded for Flynn. However, Douglas is coming off major shoulder surgery, which in theory would make him tough to deal. But Flynn is a similar medical risk. The 6-foot guard out of Syracuse had hip surgery last July and was limited to 53 games in his second year, not including a stint in the D-League.
Knicks target backup point guard, could deal Toney Douglas to Minnesota Timberwolves for Jonny Flynn
