You're 21. Pro basketball player. Good looking. Why get married?

Maybe he will ask himself these questions when he is 40.

why not? If you meet the right girl, have a stable life (financially and otherwise), tie the knot if you believe in marriage.

Different customs over in Europe I suppose and what's wrong with him getting married at a young age? Like lebron was with his gf since he was around 18, some ppl just truly find their soulmate at a young age. Besides, not everyone in the NBA wants to live the bachelor type lifestyle

deaner 06-21-2014 07:36 PM

hey, if it keeps JVal on a leash and settled down I'm all for it. Having kids have helped more than a few of our players...

creative1mm 06-21-2014 08:54 PM

why not get Married. Not every player goes around sleeping with groupies like wilt chamberlain. He found the rite girl, got married and didn't waste time

it will keep him grounded, some of these NBA players just spend money and party all the time and don't work on their game

I guess there is hope for the younger generation.

Rompeprop 06-22-2014 06:49 AM

I'm pretty sure it's not a long term marriage ,at least at 30 he'll understand it was a mistake, because it's his first serious relationship :)
I'm 28 now, and my current gfriend probably will be my wife some day :) But I've had to have some 5 other girls before her to figure it out.

9 years sounds like long term to me especially when you consider the high rates of divorce here :mu:

All to each his own, why must it be a mistake?

I'm pretty sure he got a prenup (that's like a requirement these days which is just sad).
I hope she isn't a gold digger and I'm not going to assume that just cause she married him at a early age.

not everyone womenmen marrys a guy/girl for money but its usually true for most cases :mu:

Love the misogyny. So glad we can still count on living repressed, miserable lives based on patriarchal bullshit.
