Default John Henson

was reading about him on espn and how he's not appreciated by milwaukee, and I think he'd be a great frontcourt partner to JV. Given they are supposedly trying to win, I wonder if we can somehow snatch him using lowry/gay or amir in some kind of combination (gay for butler + henson etc). I would be willing to trade the 1st rounder we got from NY for JH, I think he has huge potential and would pair fairly well with JV.

He plays like Sanders, and is behind Ilyasova. Give them Gay.

They're trying to win?! Really?

Given the fact they have some young pieces and already have 11 losses as well as a first round pick I think they are going to continue to tank this season.

Trying to win would be idiotic.

I would love Henson on the team. However, doesn't Henson and Jonas play the similiar role on offense. You need some type of perimeter threat to support Jonas down low. Plus, putting two bigs down low on offense will pack the paint for drives to the basket. Henson has limited minutes because of the similar role Sanders plays on the team. Alot of teams are putting one big on the floor surrounded with perimeter players (Miami, Houston).

Henson is still getting plenty of minutes, it's just that Drew is comfortable with Zaza. We're not getting Henson out for cheap, dude is super long and puts up some decent stats and gives some major rim protection. He'll work his way into more minutes as the season progresses. If they trade anyone, it might be Sanders.

I don't know they seem to like Sanders a lot, I think we could get Henson for the right price

with all of the negativity around Sanders, that could easily change.

I tend to agree, but keep in mind their gm is in desperation mode and may be willing to sacrifice the future for the present.

funny how jeff thinks milwaukee would be idiots to tank while we shouldn't given the similarity between us and them (middle of the road teams, the bucks were slightly better last year and a mix of promising talent and some decent vets but no real stars and no future )

They're 2 and 12 and their fans have signed a petition to tank or something.

I believe Henson was one of Jeff Weltman's picks while he was with Milwaukee, so I don't doubt Ujiri et al are looking into the possibility.

who knew losing a Jennings and monta ellis would mean so much considering they shot the ball way to much with the bucks and also shot a low percentage but the win more games that just doesn't make sense
