Default John Henson

He is having an amazing rookie year for limited minutes.

With added weight (220 lbs at 6'11) he could be a real weapon.

averaging 5.8 pts at .472%, 4.1 rbs, 0.4 ast, 0.5 blk in 12.4 minutes

so per 36 he is averaging 16.84 pts, 11.9 rbs, 1.16 ast, 1.45 blk

For a rookie they are some crazy numbers!

So what I'm getting down to it at the end of the season would you pull the trigger on a bargs+anderson for Henson?

left with

Lowry/Lucas/Telfair
DeRozan/Ross
Gay/Fields
Henson/Johnson
JV/Gray

Best starting line we have probably ever had and amazing defense for a second unit...

Dont hate its just an idea

We'd get pushed around a lot if you ask me. 3 thin/undersized bigs?

Great idea. I like Hensons play a lot but unfortunately the Bucks see the same thing you do and have come out already and stated that Henson, along with Sanders, are basically untouchable.

Now Ily is the guy that I would LOVE from that team, can be a stretch 4 or a power 3. I'm hoping that we just miss the playoffs, OKC gets our pick then next summer trade LK/1st for Ily. With Ily I believe that the Raps will make the playoffs with home court, so that pick in that so called deep draft will be low. Maybe with the emergence of Sanders the Bucks do consider Bargs. Bargs/low 1st for Ily.

FYI - Anderson has only a year and is a FA at the end of this year.

I agree about the thin component but to say that they are undersized I strongly disagree with...

PF average height > 6'9
Henson-6'11
Johnson-6'9

Centre average height > 6'11
JV-7'0
Gray-7'0

Plus 2 are rookies with size to gain, eg. Dwight Howard
and amir makes up for it with his hustle

and then there's this sexy beast

Quick question, why would you think the Bucks want to trade a very promising player for Bargs and an UFA in Anderson. Also Henson makes 1.8 mil to Bargs' 11 mil.

Henson is under weight for his height so yeah, I think Alex is right, he would get pushed around till he gained more weight for his height.

Another idea - bargs/anderson/lucas/2014 1st pick for charlottes 1st pick

I know this could only happen if we miss the playoffs and our pick goes to OKC but this would give us an amzing shot at Wiggins.... that is my number 1 goal

quick question would you have wiggins or gay the 4?

I would put wiggins at the 4 as he is only young and can still grow but hes only 6'7 although he has 14 rbs and 4 blks per game and that dominates Gays highschool stats. Although if we want a shot at him we need to get serious!

Lowry/Telfair
DeRozan/Ross
Gay/Fields
Wiggins/Johnson
JV/Gray

You need to put yourself in the other teams shoes before proposing these trades because they all favor us big time. Bargs has negative value right now, no one is going to give up a better draft pick, nor good young player for him.

I too like Henson though. He has really nice potential to become a very good scoring bigman. He's got to get more PT this year and next, and get in the gym this offseason though.

Henson is a better rookie than Ed was, but Ed has a really good frame for a Power Forward. He could pack on a lot more muscle (already has) than Henson. Plus he`s gets off his feet quicker.

Also, all this Wiggins nonsense is bullshit. As nice as it would be, we`re not getting him - get over it. A team like the Bobcats wouldn`t trade a top 5 pick for Kobe, let alone that garbage.

Yes, Bargnani, our 11 million dollar sixth man who's playing horrible with no trade value, and our shitty role players for Charlotte's first overall pick.

I like Henson and I agree with the idea of chasing him. But I don't think Bargs would get it done.

D12 seems to have become a cancer and would demand max
Bynum is an idiot, he can stay away from my team
J-Smoove plays the same position(s) as Gay
Jefferson I like but he's a C and if JV is our future Al just gets in the way
DWest could be an upgrade to Amir and push Amir to bench, but after this season's games against Indiana I really don't like this guy as a person
Milsap would also be an upgrade to Amir and push him to the bench, so I guess he would be my choice of the above

I wouldn't say that... but it's probably close. If we wanted Henson, we'd have to be talking about JV or Ross.... and Ross probably wouldn't be enough as most teams won't trade a big for a small when it's comparable talent. Milwaukee did it with Bogut for Ellis but we all know Bogut is probably never going to be the same player he was.

There is an argument though that Milwaukee could use Ross more than Henson given that they have Sanders, Udoh, Sammy, and I'm sure somebody else.... but my guess is they'd want JV
