You ain't a man, don't play.

Exactly.

The blinding love of Kobe by young men between the ages of 12 and 20 is extremely unhealthy.

Explain.
Why shouldn't I admire the best player in the world as a basketball fan?

Admire a player-good

Needlessly and incessantly defending him at all costs and putting him on a pedistal like some sort of demigod-bad.

First off is the AP and Bell comparison.

Bell is younger and more athletic than AP and can keep up to the Kobes, etc wehn playing defense. AP has indeed lost a step in that regard but AP is a much better shooter and passer than Bell.

Jamario is much better on defense than Barnes but Barnes is a better shooter(slightly) for the author to say that either are good shooters is overstating their abitlities a bit.

Bell much younger?
76 to 75 not something to really note
but yeah have to agree, bell is the better defender

It's only because of Gasol now that he even had a chance to make it that far or else it would've been like every other year without Shaq

That is true but LeBron got to the championship by himself(failed to win it), and Kobe could't get past the first round by himself

Well, at least he had a good support cast.
Kobe had Mr.Bust and The Smush on the starting line-up. Can't really fault him for getting a .50 season.
