It's over, fellas.

I've prepared myself for no more JO for........................ ever in a Raptors uniform.
He's done.

He messed up the same knee real bad.
He'll need the full season to rehab that shit again.
And by that time, everyone's had it with him and he'll be rid off.

It was GREAT for a short while, JO.
Another could've been in Raptors history.

I'm no doctor, but I've had similar knee injuries and the fact that he was able to walk off the court was a good sign.

But that knee is gonna be swolllen tomoorow

this is al horford on TJ all over again, what is with the unnecessary hitting on the fouls
in this case since he was able to walk by himself and take the foul shots, i think he'll be ok fairly soon
as they are expecting results tomorrow i assume that doesn't give them much time to work on his knee for sunday's game, so i'm expecting no JO on sunday

you guys don't understand.

it's finished

we are done

we are going to fall deeper and deeper into the pits of depravity

all of you who think he will be fine are FOOLS. bloody FOOLS i tell you!

we not only lost a player who just came back from injury plagued seasons and was playing great basketball, but we lost a team player.

it's done. it's finished. we all are going to cry ourselves to sleep. tonight

I can't prepare myself. This is too shocking. I sat staring at the tv screen for like an hour till after the game was finished. My girlfriend tried to shake me and she said my skin was cold as ice. I am dead inside.

He had a massive brace on the knee might that not limit some of the effects? they called it a strain for now. I admit I am concerned about it but it seems little silly to write off the entire season for the guy before we have even got a report.

But I think we all need:

In these tough times we need a little love and togetherness lol

No. He HAS to be okay.

I hardly post, but I am a die hard Raptors fan.

I work 50 hours a week, I have a girl and family to take care of, I have other side projects. The Raptors are my only escape from the world, and Jermaine was one of the best things to happen to this team in my eyes. And to see him on the ground like that, dropped my heart to my stomach.

My greatest Raptors moment was with him, last sunday against Miami, me and my buddies were a few rows away from the court, and when he did that disgusting block on Quinn he stopped and flexed and looked right at us, and we were going insane pushing and shoving each other and pounding our chests, we all had J.O jerseys on, and he looked right at us and pointed.

Just thinking about that is making me wallow in misery

Don't worry Bosh will fill in for JO and he will drop 65 points next game.

Wow, some of you guys need to back away from the ledge a little bit. First of all, Doc is right, let's just see what the doctors say first. When this trade was made, most of us assumed that JO would not play a full 82 game schedule. Granted, it REALLY sucks for him to go down so early in the season, and while he was on a roll, and just started to look like he was fitting in. The important part, is at the END of the season, not at the beginning, let just wait and see what the news is, and THEN react, no the opposite.

That's just leaving yourself for a heartbreak.
He shot those free throws to ease the Raptors fans' minds.
He was thinking the exact same thing as everyone else in those seats, "oh shit. is this happening? did i just get injured AGAIN? everyone was right. i am injury prone."
All that shit. Guess what... he DID get injured.
He was just trying his best to shadow all those thoughts at that moment by shooting the free throws.

He ain't coming back.
He's done.

What a horrible, horrible game! We lost on so many levels.

Im new to this board. Im a Raptors and Pacers fan. When this trade went down I felt back to Toronto because I have been following JO ever since he became a Pacer and knew this day would come.

But to be honest, he will bounce back. He will be out for about 2 months and then return. This happens to him every season.

it's not a serious injury so stop freaking out. he took two free throws after the foul and ya he bent his knees and everything so it's not serious.
