Best post on this thread so far.

Bayliss isn't a smart player at the NBA level....yet. He may become one. I LOVE his passion though. And hey JACK loves him, and if Jack loves him, I love him, cuz I love Jack!

:P

You'd think the amount of time hes playing suddenly with the small rotation has to factor into his desicion making. I remember seeing one play last night he just brought it up half court, dribbled twice & just chucked a 3. But agree on the passion & the fact that Jack loves him is an obvious plus.

No way.

Our dogs are cute.

Bayless reminds me of a magical troll from an Archie comic I read when I was little. I should find it.

I think with both of them, we can see both their potentials. Both Irving and JB have similiar skillsets but Irving has more IQ than JB. If Triano can give them consistent minutes every game, they'll be fine

I'd have to agree with you. There was what only 8 players ready to play on the roster? And with DD not always on the floor and some of your other main guys on the floor who else do you pass it to? Ajinca? Wright? Dorsey? Alabi? You want guys who can consistently score when passed the ball and that only guy right now is DD. JJ and Davis are getting there. Hopefully they're consistent scorers next season.

i think he should be our starter at point. caldy's just so-so now. he doesn't seem to have court vision anymore. all he could do is find anyone open and pass. he doesn't seem to see the 'flow' of everyone's movements.

jerryd on the other hand, while not very flourished, i think its safe to say he has more flair than caldy. although sometimes, i think he tends to be a shoot-first than a pass. isn't that something we saw in TJ??

I think it would be ideal for the Raptors to get another point guard to start.

If Bayless can learn to play off the bench, his scoring can make him a dangerous 6th man.

Yea I agree, especially with Walker and Irving in the draft. I am not sold on Bayless to be our future starter. He reminds me of TJ Ford and Jarret Jack (When he was on a roll last season).

Having Walker/Irving and Bayless off the bench or vice versa would be dangerous

if its walker at PG with bayless off the bench then i'm really worried
walker is a ben gordon waiting to happen, a streaky shooter than doesn't pass but his size restricts him to be a PG or a small SG, and we can't do small SG because we have no PG and demar is already the SG
bayless is best suited off the bench where running plays for specific guys is not the main focus, if he improves his overall game i'll be fully satisfied with him off the bench
