I don't know ... what's wrong with it? :confused2:

Alvin_Williams_Rox 08-15-2008 03:37 PM

when u have dry hands, it cuts you. Maybe they redesigned it. Or maybe its Photoshopped ? :S

'trane 08-15-2008 03:52 PM

i'm pretty sure that's just a stright-up leather ball, not a microfibre one, no?

Gurk 08-15-2008 04:00 PM

Who cares about theball JO looks nice in the raptors red:nohomo:

LX 08-15-2008 04:48 PM

It's a two-panel ball. Which means it's an old picture of BC. Photoshopped nicely. Or maybe it was the only ball around.

What I noticed for the first time is that the team will have some tattoos on display for the first time in a while.

Gurk 08-15-2008 06:03 PM

No if you go to raptors.com it is there on the homepage so it isn't photoshopped

It being on the homepage doesn't mean it's not photoshopped!

Apollo 08-15-2008 08:56 PM

Its the site owned by the Raptors. Its easier for Colangelo to grab Jermaine and enter a studio and take the shot than go through some elaborate hoax.

Gurk 08-15-2008 08:59 PM

Yea that's what I meant

LX 08-15-2008 09:15 PM

It's not an elaborate hoax. Nobody is suggesting that Jermaine O'Neal does not exist. However he is in Vegas, and BC could be anywhere, maybe China. So you take an old picture of Bryan an slap it in front of Jermaine and it is entirely suitable for a website. Look at the point where JO's arm meets up with Bryan's shoulder. It looks like it could be cleaned up a bit. But like I said - entirely suitable for the internet.

Acie 08-15-2008 09:18 PM

I don't know why anyone really even cares about this, but 99.9% of photos you see in the media have been photoshopped in some way or another, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that it has been doctored, but again...who cares.

LX 08-15-2008 09:56 PM

Are you saying that the entire appreciation of beauty thread is in fact an elaborate hoax ACIE?

Thug 08-15-2008 11:31 PM

Nah that photo is real.

The photo is real. You can tell by the lighting and a couple other things but I really don't want to have this debate...

J.O. looks trimmer than he's looked in a while; that's a good sign.

m5racer 08-16-2008 11:54 AM

they took that photo for the raps websight. Of course its real, dam i doubt they are using that ball, they prob needed one for the pic that was around so they used it.

Gurk 08-16-2008 12:24 PM

Yea why would they go through a long process of photoshopping it when they can take one picture and put it on the website

LX 08-16-2008 01:21 PM

combining two pictures takes something like 30 seconds. There are two credits for the photo. What does that tell you? The picture is of two people on opposite ends of the earth. What does that tell you? The shadow thrown by the ball does not match the straight-on lighting. Not only is it photoshopped, it is a cheap quick job.
