Jermaine O'Neal is kryptonite!

i felt this interview needed more exposure. JO and CB are focused very much on making each other better!

Quote:
TORONTO -- There was a look in Jermaine O'Neal's eye that suggested awe.

Grabbing 91 rebounds in five games, after all, seems like a work more of fiction than reality, even for Superman.

"Oh, really?" O'Neal said after the Toronto Raptors finished practice Monday. "Wow."

But O'Neal was not with the Raptors last April when Dwight Howard took ownership of the glass in the first-round playoff series between the teams, making it readily apparent to the Raptors' brass that someone like O'Neal was needed.

Howard indeed totalled 91 rebounds in Orlando's five-game victory, including three games of at least 20 rebounds at Amway Arena, where the Raptors will play Tuesday night for the first time since last season came to an end on April 28.

"Orlando probably was the icing on the cake," O'Neal said of the Raptors' motivations for acquiring him in the off-season.
here is the full interview

here are Smitch's thoughts on Bargs game on sunday from the National post

Quote:
The big concern about Andrea Bargnani starting at the small forward spot is whether or not he can guard athletically gifted players at the position. But Mitchell liked his effort on Sunday against the Heat.

“I thought Andrea did a pretty decent job," Mitchell said. “I thought he did a pretty good job guarding his guys.”

Bargnani saw time on both Shawn Marion and Michael Beasley in the game, and those two players combined to shoot seven for 19 (36.8%). Bargnani will likely start Tuesday’s game on Hedo Turkoglu.

I think there's a good chance Hedo will own him. To say it in a very gamer way.

well, i hope that doesn't happen and i think they are similar players with Hedo a few years into his career but i think Bargs has a bit more inside game and could post Hedo up and throw him off his game. should be a great battle either way whether AB or CB covers Hedo, the othere gets Rashard Lewis. i would rather see AB on him.

i agree jeffb, might as well let the hot trio take the game to the smaller magic and hope we can get dwight to play full contact ball tonight, if the Bobcats can get him fouled out, i am sure we can too.

I really kills me when people say AB's gonna get killed on D at SF!Are we kidding here? Moon has been horrible all season getting blown by night after night, looking uninterested. As for JK........well no more needs to be said there.AB is showing me a hell of alot more interest on D then both put together!

If Jamario had been playing like he did off the bench last game, this team would not be struggling to stay above .500% JK has been exposed as an awful man up defender and has not been shooting worth shit this year. Bring on the big fella!

I think what happened in the playoffs last year will happen again. Bargs won't be able to guard hedo and "J-Killa" will be nailing treys all over the court.

Well if he topped Superman 1 then I guess he deserves it more than the first one did.

Ok gurk , you can do whatever you want, but dont go there in the name of RF and dont provoke them to come here. We dont want to start a war between boards. Respect them.

Don't worry it wasn't bad. It just said how we would win 200-1 and Bosh would score 100 and Jo would own D12's ass
