Default Jermaine O'Neal = '93 Carlos Delgado

The Jermaine O'Neal era reminds me of Carlos Delgado on the '93 Jays.

7 homers in April = 3 - 0 start

Advanced scouting report and resulting .152 avg = Everything else that happened after that 3 - 0 start.

Mercifully sent to Dunedin = Colangelo admitting that he whiffed.

I threw up an audio post.

I think this has less to do with O'Neal and his performance and more to do with a flawed roster.

Except 82% of the time when JO played he was productive and often showed that he was the only one with consistant toughness and grit on our team. He was good shit most of the time when he was healthy.

What youre describing is Bargs' 1st yr compared to his 2nd.

the only thing the situations have in common, is the 3-0 start.

Too bad that it was the 94 version you're thinking of. Delgado was a September callup in 93.
