I like Lillard too. Except for the fact that he played for a small school, there is almost no negative on his game. He didn't turn the ball over much last season even though he had to create almost every possession. And he also showed in some games that he trusts his teammates and can take a backseat on offense (eg feeding Bamforth when he gets hot)

When I think about it, playing in a small school isn't that big of a deal. Many decent NBA players dominated in small schools eg Kevin Martin, Stephen Curry, Mario Elie, Ben Wallace, Dennis Rodman, etc. I think Lillard will be a really good pro as he's pretty athletic and can shoot the ball too. I would be disappointed if we take Marshall over Lillard just because he comes from a small school.

He had a great run in last year's NCAA Conference & March Madness tourney's and I think he'll be a solid pro but I'm not sure if TO should settle for him at 8th...I rather see them package that pick and get something they desperately need like a new floor general at the point.

I think Lamb will take a few seasons to have a real impact on their team's success because the roster isn't that strong to begin with,he may be expected to do more than he can handle.

With that being said,I wouldn't be upset as a Raptors fan if they chose him,I just don't think he should be Toronto's first option. I'd say drafting wise Marshall first(unless MGK or HB are available). I even think they should consider Sullinger,he has size and would make a nice true PF alongside JV. TO could then fetch a solid PG in a packaged deal including AB.

Remember him from U-19 championship. I don't understand people who say that it'll be hard for him to gain weight. Not every shooting guard has to weigh 220 lbs, and Lamb now weighs the same as Larry Hughes did.

Raps don't desperately need a floor general at the point, like others here you under value what JC brings to the table and the team has time here. If there is need it would be for a SF that can shoot and rebound - and not a rookie.

We are going to have no player on the team who can penetrate opposing teams' D next year, who needs that anyway right :cookie:

The team can penetrate but the raps are ineffective cause our outside shooting sucks. Teams load the paint knowing that. That's why BC and DC are after an SF that can shoot and pass well. I like LK but we need a player that can at least move laterally quicker.

I would like to have at least 1 player who has that ability, currently have no player who can penetrate opposing teams' D (except for JB who we could keep as a starter for a cut cheap price for a few years but it won't happen (I do recognize the dude is horrible off the bench))

Bargnani is already a sub-par (at best) rebounder and so is DD. If we have below average rebounders at the 2,3 and 4 spots, we'd get absolutely murdered.

Our ideal SF is somebody that can spread the floor, and rebound. Drafting Lamb and moving Demar to SF is NOT the answer!

It's true, lamb should probably come off the bench and push derozan. In that case we'd have to sign a SF. They say derozan is naturally or better a SF, i guess because his jumper sucks still, cant hit 3s etc.. But what about in the event we sign Kaman? rebounding would be good, Bargs would have to step up his rebounding but for the first time in a while we'd have a legit centre and even backup in JV, ready to supplant the C too.

Kaman, really? He'd demand a lot of salary.
