i wouldn't mind getting jennings here if the price were right. Bargs for maggette and jennings would something i'd see as realistic.

i don't see any team in the league taking back both jose and Bargs in any deal, unless it involved us taking back a lot of dead weight.

We have to trade for Cleveland's first pick. Can't picture that happening without losing DeRozan.

I would do that. Then trade either Mags or Kleiza.

Kleiza, Barbosa & Amir are untradable this off season because they are all coming off surgery...

I would make a move with a trade like Jose & our pick 4 Jennings & filler or AB 4 Jennings...

Sounds terrible imo... our pick alone is worth as much or more than jennings

Jennings is fucking terrible. His entire career rides on his one great game. His FG% is 37%! For a guard! His TS% is a subpar 48%.

DeRozan is a superior player in every way.

Except 3pt shooting, nobody is worse then

i don't get how demar is relevant to how good jennings is. he is a horrible shooter and probably does take a lot of shots he probably shouldn't, but there's no doubt that he has game changing skills and speed.

btw i'd more concerned if it were a wing/forward/center shooting 37% opposed to a point guard

I remember Tony Parker having a terrible shot. Jennings has skills that can't be taught, and what he doesn't have can be taught and acquired. If he can defend to the extent that he was able to under Skiles, meaning if Triano can get some defense out of him, then it would be a nice addition.

Let's not forget that Jennings is the best offensive player on the league's worst offensive team. He's probably encouraged to shoot at a high volume.

his overall skill level is better than any of the PGs we have but he's kind of an SG playing a PGs position
he shoots a lot and passes little, his percentages are terrible and doesn't have very good decision making abilities for a PG
he's basically an upgraded version of bayless, don't think thats really what we need as it appears we want to trade Calderon and keep bayless, we'll end up with a jennings/bayless combo thats basically bayless and upgraded bayless, there's not enough there for me

I don't see why MIL would want Bargs for anything. They already tried a horribly-soft no-D terrible-rebounding wussy in Villanueva as their starting PF and ended up demoting him to the bench after half a season in his very first season with the team. They dumped him on DET and DET ended up doing the exact same thing. No one wants a soft one-dimensional post player, especially one with a contract like Barg's.

I like Jennings a lot though. I think he will watch his shot selection more this season. Before the NBA, he was used to being "the guy". With experience, I'm sure he'll learn to shoot when needed.

now thats just irrational hatred. comparing Bargs to villanueva deserves a facepalm. Bargnani is far superior ro villanueva offensively which is exactly what the bucks need. offence. Bargs beside bogut, as ive said before is one heck of a front court.

i agree. Bogut is one of the elite rebounders in the NBA and if anyone can make up for Primo Pastas lack of rebounding its him. Bargs for Jennings I would do, but I doubt the Bucks would do it.

So Jennings had that 55pt game (vs Warriors) and proved he's a good shooter. But he's not. He's fast and can get to the rim against poor D a la TO, that's about it. Bayless is tougher and just as determined.

p.s. Just imagined Bogut vs Bargnani in Bucks training. "Bargnani is an underrated 1on1 defender" yeah, sure
