biedrins, morrow, randolph, and ellis are all promosing young guys who can play the game. they do what young guys do sometimes and take nights off. nellie's fault with them specifically is the handling of that mistake.
but his approach to the game itself is a beautiful thing for young players.

you forgot about mitch richmond, one of the greatest pure scorers the league has ever seen, chris mullin and tim hardaway, all young guys who came into their own under nellie's tutelege.
what about steve nash in dallas?
what about dirk nowitzki?
what about michal finley?

it would seem that the NBA is delusional. or has amnesia...
Both. Nellie plays players who deserve to play. I know Raptors fans think all Euros deserve 30 MPG, but it's not true.

JVG would have been happy watching us play today.

You give Atlanta 146 and then you have a chance to come home tonight, not 2 weeks later and you give 'em 111 at home? I don't get it."

JVG may have been advised by the wise to stay away from the Kool-aid, so don't say anything positive about it and people won't expect you to coach the Team.

This will be the hardest task ever asked of an NBA coach, don't think he'll succeed.
