Coach of the year...we wont 33 last year and if we wint 55-60 this year which is very possible...than definitely coach of the year...thats 25+ wins and usually thats what get you that award...

60 wins IMO is an unrealistic expectation for tha Raps. It is very difficult for a team with so many new players to gel and make such a drastic improvement in just one summer. Although the Celtics did do it a couple of seasons ago, but they had the BIG 3 and an excellent defensive system in place.

This upcoming season I expect the Raps will improve by about 15 wins. 48 wins sound reasonable, which If I'm not mistaken would be a Raps record.

However, if the Raps manage to hold on to Bosh after this season and players like Derozan and Belinelli continue to improve I wouldnt be surprised if the Raps hit 55 wins in the 10/11 season.

l've always thought of Triano as "green" but he seems to be fairly well-travelled and good at reading his players' psychology.

He's also entertaining in his own right

The fact that we have so many new players doesn't mean much. These are NBA players. They will have plenty of time to gel, and I think the players compliment each other very well. They are 10 new players, but for the most part, they are 10 very good players who have specific roles.

Celtics were good off the bat because they had a good defensive system you say. Well Jay's defensive philosophies are solid, and the team was unable to implement them because Jay had no practise time etc. We also got Marc Iavaroni who is a defensive specialist.

I would say 55-60 wins is possible. Not saying it's gonna hapeen, but possible.

Cool your jets a little. We'll be lucky to get 48+ wins imo. 50 wins would be a massive accomplishment.

25-30 might be a little extreme, but until this team steps on the court the jury is out on how well they'll do. Fact is we're kinda sorta weak in the defense and rebounding departments, and with an overhaul as epic as what's gone down with this team who really knows how well the players will jell.

Expectations are high, I might question my life if this team doesn't make the playoffs, they look good on paper but honestly, how they finish is anyone's guess.

A lil extreme maybe but they could have an equally bad season. A lot of unknowns...

Is Triano going to continue to strugle as a coach? His record was worse then mitch's. Maybe he's just not cut to be the head coach.

Will the team bond? Realisticly they have 11 guys that had playing time last year and theirs no real way to consistently play that many guys. It's bound to cause some problems.

Will Jack accept his backup role?

Will a starting SG emerge from all those SG's?

Is 3 big men with similar games (all jump shooters rather then post up) going to work?

How bad will the rebounding be?

Can they defend?

Will the new better players want more shots, reducing the number of touches Bosh gets? If they do, how will Bosh like having fewer shots in his contract season?
