Default Jawai

I know he's only played in garbage time, but am I the only one slightly impressed with this guy??

He's done some heady things in his first few games, and he doesn't look nearly as lost as I thought he would the last few games.

Against the Cavs he had that easy layup in the key, but he finished quickly and kept the ball high above his head. Against the knicks he had that rebound with the immediate three-quarter court outlet pass which looked like he's been doing it for years.
He's demonstrated some quick feet defensively as well, quicker than I expected atleast.

More Jawai, I hope he gets some burn when the minutes matter.

Jawai is still a raw player, he needs to play in D-league to get some experience playing at high level. He is git the tools to be a nice role player, it depends how much he wants it and if he is willing to work his way thru.

You could say the same thing about Steve Nash during his first season, and he became two time mvp.

If Jawai becomes 6 time All-Star and 2 times league MVP I'll kiss your naked ass.

whatever ivan.

any and i mean ANY sign of optimism from the young players of this year's squad is something to be happy about.

This season is no longer about wins. It's about development for guys like Bargnani, Roko, Jawai, Joey etc.

I hope Nathan gets some more burn too - and i'm glad he's shown us a little something to smile about in a season that's typically left me swearing.

Didn't the Raps send P.J. Tucker to the Colorado 14ers?
If that's Toronto's affiliate- Whoo Hoo! They're in first place!
Too bad they haven't got anyone there.
