Jason Kapono

this guy is starting to PISS ME OFF.. he has been totally shit outside of a few games.. he takes too many shots and misses them alll... maaan its horrible to watch this guy play and woth all this we pay him 6 MILL a year man this is horrible hopefully he gone by trade deadline

babyface 02-19-2009 02:44 AM

JK just needs to take more shots. When he goes for 15+ shots his percentage is pretty good.

sixel 02-19-2009 08:38 AM

we should trade him for peterson
kapono suck

Acie 02-19-2009 09:27 AM

Peterson?

You mean Slow Peterson? He's not even playing in NO.

I thought he was going to shoot without hesitation like he did against SA, but for some reason last night he reverted back to his old ways.

He's just a bad fit here, but no one's going to touch that contract.

Pink?

I think he's a bad fit for this current team's structure. this team really has no real plan / no real system. I believe Kapono could certainly succeed within the right setting, but frankly there are so many things wrong here that Kapono is just one to add to the pile.

Mo pete though? no thanks.

bjjs 02-19-2009 09:44 AM

Yup, Kapono is simply on a bad team right now, he isn't getting enough easy looks.

Kapono fits well on a system well coached ... that's not the case with Raptors.

Claudius 02-19-2009 11:01 AM

It's not even a case of being a well coached team, it's having players that allow him space and allow other teams to not zero in on him. He worked well in Miami because Miami had so many weapons.

Here, he's being asked to be either a 6th man or a third option. It's asking too much of him. Problem is, he's being paid as such.

Every time this idiot comes on the floor i cringe, and realize if we are winning we will prob loose the lead. He comes on, has no offence, defence is not even in his vocab. He is just dead weight on the floor standing in the corner not really doing much

Kapono Sucks :yeah:

punee_25 02-19-2009 12:39 PM

i say we trade him quick attempt send a package of him and someone for carter i only liked him on the team cuz he was winning 3 point shootouts now i have nothing so see ya later buddy

Acie 02-19-2009 12:55 PM

Some real insightful dialogue going on here. :mischief:

Da'Peg 02-19-2009 01:05 PM

Wow, I could have guessed his head was next. Raptor fans always hatin'.

Gurk 02-19-2009 04:50 PM

^^^^
LOL true.

Kapono woul be good on a team like the Spurs and maybe even the Celts. He would get wide open threes to drain all day long. ON this team however he isn't good

JJ28 02-19-2009 04:53 PM

to the spurs we could get a oberto or thomas in return

Gurk 02-19-2009 04:57 PM

I don't think they would give us Thomas but Oberto has fallen out of their rotation

moremilk 02-19-2009 09:36 PM

kapono is only usefull on a contender. Colangelo is not willing to trade him, because he hopes that after he makes all the moves this summer, we might be in a position to use him. Look at mike miller, he looks horrible in minesotta, but last season lots of raptors fans were drooling over him ...
