Default Jared Dudley, twitter comments on raps

First of all ya ya i follow dudley on twitter... he has some interesting tweets and i like following some of the no names of the nba.. anyhow he posted this tweet few nights ago

dudley
Quote:
Im watching this Heat vs Raptor game.Looks like @chrisbosh is having a good homecoming..is it me or do Raptors have alot of similar players?
he got the following replies (that he retweeted)

Quote:
RT @rogeraikin: @JaredDudley619 You mean like the Suns? ( yeah were like that to but, all of wings play different styles) 9:55 PM Feb 16th via Echofon
Quote:
RT @iAmPrinceVille: @JaredDudley619 what you mean by similar players ( Rozen, barbosa, Weens, Bayless are all athletic slashing wings) 9:57 PM Feb 16th via Echofon
then he got this comment which was of my interest in all this and his response

Quote:
RT @Sincere306: easy if you were on the raps you'd be watching the game from the bench bro.( are u serious? lol yeah ok keep thinking that)
So you can discuss his comments on the similar players but moreso i was thinking aboujt him on the raps and him thinking he woujld start. Do you think we would start for us? I don't know.. i guess it would be close..

thoughts?

how can he possibly be able to watch a raptor game if he's not actually watching it in Canada? I thought it was impossible to see any Raptor games in the US or so our former star player says.

dude is a bench player... on any team. I'm not sure his comments were to slight Raps, but more about kissing Bosh's ass... lol.

Jared Dudley would definitely be up for major minutes on our team, possibly even starting at the three.

Seems like a lot of people South of the border watched the Miami - Toronto, game....which makes me happy as we played great and showed potential as a team of the future.

Doubt it's hard to pick up a Heat game in the states though

EDIT: Just re-read your post...nice one on Bosh

He'd provide defense and long range shooting, two components this squad sorely lacks, equating in a starting role.

The Suns are more redundant though.

his defence is overstated... he might provide toughness and hustle, his shooting isn't bad either, but he's not much better than Wright, Evans, or even Weems.

Lol... if Wright was as good as Dudley he wouldn't be playing in China right now.

He's an excellent 3-pt shooter and his perimeter D is excellent.

He would start in a heartbeat.

i don't really see how the Raptors are all the same?
bargs is different than any other C in the league
the only 2 guys that are the same are amir and davis and even the amir is a around the basket skill guy that can take you out with a jump shot, davis is purely a defense and rebounding guy
if he's making this statement from watching the heat game then he's not even talking about kleiza, wright, alabi, dorsey or evans because they don't even play minutes
demar is a slasher with a mid range shot, weems is the only guy you would say is similar to demar but the skills are less
barbosa is a pure slasher that needs to handle the ball and shoot 3s, which is nothing like demar
jose is a passing PG and bayless is a shooting PG, maybe similar to barbosa

so really the only ones similar are bayless and barbosa, but they're both bench guys so who really cares
besides, i'm pretty sure people have overlapping skills, i'm pretty sure having a couple of similar guys isn't too much

I don't think Dudley would start on any team in the league right now.

IF Eyenga, Weems and Stojakovic can start, Dudley can do it either...
