It's irrelevant. The bulls were looking to add anthony parker, rasual butler and any sg that was available...... jj is better than those guys. Sometimes castoffs are due to other factors.

Frankly, I have enjoyed his hustle as well.

What do you think the Bulls reasons for letting him go were?

They have Luol Deng who has proved himself to be valuable to that team, so they didn't really have a chance to see what JJ has. BC was going to draft James Johnson instead of DeRozan.. so he has lots of potential. I'm a big fan of JJ now, he is the kind of player this team has been looking for.

Yeah, I'm down with the J's these days, he had an excellent game yesterday. What I like most about JJ is that he doesn't demand too many touches, still plays hard defense and is efficient at scoring when he does get some shots off. Great thing is we still have him locked down for a few more years, get him in shape by working hard in the summer and we may have a serious candidate for the 3 spot. I think the trio of DD, JJ and ED can grow to as good as they want to be, let's hope they realize their potential. We're a solid C away from a very promising team.

Any chance Dallas isn't going to re-sign Chandler? I know he's injured frequently but we always have Bargs as a backup plan if he goes down.

I can see JJ being our starting 3. He has the size, strength, and quickness to guard 3s. His defence on Durant impressed me last game and his skill at attacking the basket. Once his jumpshot gets refined he'll be solid.

If Dallas is going a title next season with Dirk, they'll keep Chandler. Plus, Chandler loves it in Dallas. After his experience there, I don't think he'll want to sign here.
