I dont understand why some ppl cant see how handy this deal is in terms of the future, much easier to plan around this deal. If it doesnt work out and we get worse, big deal, higher pick. But who knows, the guy can still score. But it's really just about the contract, just like Marion.

another good point for getting Iverson is that he's healthy and Marion is injured. The Raps would be trading an oft injured player for another one if they got Marion.

Take Marbury, Iverson, Salmons, Artest and we'll be the new Portland Jail Blazers, version 2.0. While you're on it, hire Dennis Rodman to mentor them (after midnight of course).

bump this the hell up!!! We need a wing who can SCORE... teams know WTF we are bringing, bigs scoring and more bigs scoring, lets shake this baby up with a high risk/high reward move if it is possible, bring some real offensive threat, some grit, some hustle and some attitude. Guaranteed we win this crap tonight with a real wing.

Any legit wing would get us alot more wins to date. Moon/JK/Graham is the worst wing rotation in the league. None of our SF averaging more then 8PPG. One of your wing players needs to be #1 or #2 option. Right now they are our last option with the exception of AP who is probably our 3rd or 4th option. And he's only averaging 10/3? Awful to watch!

i know this trade isnt even reasonable, feasable or remotely gonna happen, but us being good like this has about the same odds, so im on this :P i need some kind of hope (is this how religion started? lol). I think AI brings alot more to the table then Marion, esp in terms of offense and drawing attention.

i hear that, but AI gives us the $ right away, no shitty banks contract + i just think he would make us more dangerous and entertaining for the remaining games.

Its a real gamble, he could make us deadly, or make us such bad.

We would score alot of points but defense out front of Jose and Ai would really scare me.

And would AP start at sf? or come off bench?

At this point A.I. is the best guard that we'd have a chance to get (maybe).

The payoff could be huge. And there's no real downside with his contract ending soon.

It's games like tonight where I think he could really make a difference.

Still got it.
with his QB arm.

but it is a gamble, either he drops 30 points a night, or drops 30 missed shots.
ballhog or a guy who can carry our team in droughts.
from watching the Memphis game, we sorta need him even more.

I love A.I. as much as anyone, but he is not going to help this team either make the playoffs or get a good draft pick at this point.
