It's TJ Ford for himself !

Well folkes we all got a taste on how this team would look without TJ Ford in the line up. Now we get to see how our team looks with TJ back in the line up.Right from day one I knew that TJ Ford would not be our guy to lead this team hence thats why we got him in a trade. This guy lacks basketball smarts and is a very selfish player. You see Mitch was doing the right thing with giving Jose more minutes in this game with out Bosh we did stay close to the magic in this game until TJ when off. TJ was just trying to make up for lack of playing time to pad his stats wft tj its a team game. What are we going to say about Tj this time ? He still trying to find his groove wtf ? Maybe trying to find his shot ? Wtf trying to find his himself wtf ? We all miss shots, make bad passes, take bad fouls but what TJ did was just horrible I was embarrassed to be a raptors fan. TJ Ford as I always said is an ass hole is he is full of shit when he talks and his true colours were showing in last nights game. Get him the fuck out of toronto jerks like him just don't fit in. We were a better team before he came back. It just kills me to hear all the excuses about his play. Was this garbage time noooo, was it his first game back trying to find his shot noooooo, was he trying to find his groove this time noooooo. Was TJ just being Tj YESSSS HE WAS A FUCKING ASSHOLE.

TJ has always suffered from "gotta be the Star" syndrome. It usually manifests itself in taking the last shot.

Last night it became the whole quarter.

I thought I was watching Freddy Jones out there.

My support of him took a couple steps back last night. Problem is, who's gonna take 8mil per with a back injury a banana peal away?

a team desperate for a point guard via injury or old age on a generally good team?

maybe Dallas next year?

Claudius 03-05-2008 09:27 AM

I dunno. I've always been a pretty big TJ supporter. But last night, I've never seen a person play so selfishly on this team before. I'm starting to think he's playing for a trade, trying to raise his market value. Problem is, with games like those it's not helping.

I'm starting to see TJ as nothing more than a 13 ppg 6-7 assist PG who can do some offensive damage but doesn't run an offence efficently. And those numbers are a far cry from what he could actually do, espescially on the assist front.

After the TJ Ford debacle last nite don't be surprised to see Mitch start TJ next game. Mitch will suck up to TJ, hell he should have been in his face last nite just like he does with Moon,:director:" TJ wtf you ass hole you have 4 other guys on the floor pass the ball, and take a pill wtf are you trying for a triple double 10 t/o,10 shots in 10 mins " TJ I will smack you hard and you will be out another 30 plus games if you don't stop it you ass hole. Players see this and there seems we now have issues in the locker room . TJ is a cancer on this team just watching him play soilidifies the position in that TJ does not fit in.His shot selection is horrible but then there is no shot selection when you shoot all the time. Then to cap it off i read in the paper that TJ single handedly kept our team alive shit he just killed our team :party-smiley-004: hey coach one more shot no one is looking.

The media is enamoured with points and how many are scored. Don't ask me why but I think it's the flash of it all.

It's funny because in this game you could clearly see how TJ's attitude did NOT fit in with the rest of this team. If anything this team as assembled in the past two years has been all about finding the best possible shot for teammates, being unselfish. TJ on seperate occassions and last night espescially strayed away from this philosophy. It's something Bosh has bought into as well, i.e. finding the best possible shot on the floor instead of "chucking". It's funny because the only players who really don't fit this philosophy are TJ making me think he'll be moved within the next calendar year and Delfino who might not be brought back as well.

fancylad 03-05-2008 09:45 AM

ya, Delfino is guilty too. A little less so, but he does it.
Humphries too - but with him, it's more of a moot point as he will never be considered a key piece.

I really really want to know what Colangelo makes of these TJ performances. very curious to know if he and Sam feel the same way about our point guards.

I wonder what the influence of John Lucas is, since I remember reading somewhere that Lucas felt that his offensive game as a whole had taken a step forward etc.

Don't be surprised to see in our next game thread TJ FORD as a player as hot with 20 ppg.:satan: get rid of him before he kills us.

Maybe we can blame all this on Lucas lol another excuse Lucas on the horn :director:"come on tj you can do it, shoot tj shoot you got a great shot tj, don't pass tj you are so fast that no one can stop you, tj you can pass better then jose be pretty man you got style man.

We hired Lucas for TJ now we can send them both packing.

Acie 03-05-2008 10:01 AM

Did TJ bang your wife and Lucas hold you down and force you to watch? Seriously, is hating someone you've never met worth so much effort? Sure he was a douche last night, but c'mon man... lol

Belsius 03-05-2008 10:24 AM

I agree, common Im reaaallly pissed at TJ, but you really sound obsessed. You hate TJ and everything that has anything to do with him.

Dr. J. Naismith 03-05-2008 10:33 AM

Even Ford admitted himself that he was "selfish" last night. From an article in today Star which you'll find in Today's "Raptorland" thread:

Nothing against TJ personally I just hate his game. Never liked it before his raptor days and never liked it now as a raptor. I am a raptor fan and I like to speak my mind and I want to see us win. Thats it thats all. Regarding the banging lol, Tj bangs to his own drums, however lucas ,and mitch are in the group. Its the ford threesome :music-smiley-018: lol Guys its got nothing to do with hate, I don't waver I stick to a point that I believe will make us a better team. It's strickly a basketball decision. Its time people take the blinders off and call a spade a spade no pun intended.

Sick, Wicked and Nasty! 03-05-2008 10:48 AM

Well i'm not going to get caught up in an argument that has so much biased hatred invovled but just to show i'm man enough to talk about my opinions even when they'r enot rosy i'll post. I think this anti-tj stuff is a bit over the top but i wasn't impressed with him in the 4th last night either. I dont' think it was stat padding or playing for a trade...i think it was him feeling like last year when Bosh was out that he had to really step up and carry the team. I dont' agree with it and from his interview he knows he messed up but i don't think you condemn the man for it either. Hopefully Lucas and Bosh and anyone else he'll listen to will get him to chill out in tonight's game and go back to the way he's played since returning. I'm confident that will happen because i agree we can't be successful with TJ trying to carry us in that way.

raptor123 03-05-2008 10:55 AM

Guys why do we keep finding excuses for this guy. Watch he will be our top scorer tonight everyone will forget, however BC is alot smarter, let TJ do his thing. Come this summer TJ will be cast off to never nerver land and we will done with excuses for him.
