Default It's time to bring back Vince Carter.

I want Vince back.

He's the 2-guard we need.

He's a great story for Toronto and the NBA.

Remember, the only people that said anything bad were the fans, he has never slagged Toronto.

Bring him in.

Oh God no. There must be someone else out there, anyone else.
VC is a phenomonal talent but this team has enough pussies. I couldn't watch that whiney face of his the last season and a half he was here for Christ's sake.

I'd be curious to see what would happen if Vince was to ever be a raptor again.

I'll leave it at that.

Unless he drops 50 the first day back, the fans may never forgive him and will continue booing him here. Tho I'd love VC15 back

I want a player with his capabilities, but not the player himself. I'll leave it at that.

Exactly.
VC is a quitter. That's what's in his heart. He may not have bashed the city of Toronto verbally but his attitude and actions sent a message to the league that's taken a long time for this franchise to even begin to recover from.
He quit on his teammates, on an organization that gave him everything and fans that worshipped the ground he leaped over. Welcoming him back with open arms would make even us bigger pansies than he is.
We've got to stop looking back, dreaming about all the stars who have left and wishing for them to come back and save us. Those fuckers are gone. Let's move on.

I could care less about VC, but his first big dunk in traffic or his first game winner would change alot of minds

Out of your mind?

I know It was fun when Vince was with the Raptors but the team had many role players that played with heart like Davis, Alvin, JYD, Oakley etc. VC didn't stand well against any other superstar in critical games, even stupid Mc Greedy guy. He played one great game against the NYN and one against the Sixers in the playoffs and that's about it. But I love watching him. He is fun and born to play basketball.

Right now, he is too expensive for Toronto. Unless MLSE decides to open their wallets, I can't see Carter playing for Toronto.

yeah that's the thing. Does Vince help this team 2, 3 years from now? If anything he would instill bad work ethic on our younger players if you ask me.

This team needs to add athleticism and talent. I think the best way to do that is through the draft.

+1

And who's gonna go the other way to Jersey? Just JO? Why would they want JO when they have Yi and Lopez eating major minutes.

While it would be nice to have someone of Vince's ilk back in T.O., we don't have the required assets to acquire him.. or the Nets would probably be asking a bit too much.
