that this game happened, we needed a game like this. We've been treading water pretending everything is ok and we're just unlucky and the reality is were playing like shit. We just have enough talent and in many games we get by on that alone, but this team is so ugly to watch.
Right now their hand is forced, they HAVE to do something. Either we bench Bargnani and JV, or we trade Andrea, or we make some other move, anything that can shake things up. |

For starters - how's about we stop flashing with bigs, period, and collapsing with more than one player on penetration? Just try it, eh?
Also, look at the game tape to learn how to play offence. Apparently, Tyron Corbin is a hell of a coach. Or his players are All-Stars. Or both. Or... well... ![]() |

Clearly we need so much more than a SF. Even our amazing new PG can't save us. |

There is no way in Hell that BC should be allowed to make any of the changes though
In fact, he should be the first change this organization makes |

Whatever happened this year, it's quite obvious that Casey has lost the players. Perhaps it's the absence of James Johnson (and I am only half-kidding), perhaps it's something about Lowry's personality (I doubt it, but possible) - it doesn't matter any longer. What's becoming more and more clear is the fact that this team won't give the defensive effort the last season team was giving and without a defensive effort, considering how brutal Casey's half-court offence is, they stand no chance.

Everybody on this board has their scapegoats, from Bargnani to lowry to bc to the refs to injuries and so on. A game like this was needed to show that, while all those things have their part, there are deeper problems and the solutions are not likely to be as simple as benching Bargnani or JV or upgrading the SF position. This game we got a good performance from Andrea, we got decent production from our SF and we lost by 30. This team is underperforming in a bad, bad way. On talent, we should really be close to .500. |

It's about needing to put together a well-balanced, cohesive team. Something that has been missing forever. I'm not sure why this game should be what enlightens everyone to that fact.

The ownership has to do the following: 1. Get together, led by Larry T, and for a chance decide that they REALLY want to build a contender here. 2. Get rid of all the top brass. 3. Bring in good GM and good scouts (I don't know where those can be obtained, can't be bothered with every single detail, let my greatness unroll instead). ![]() 4. The new guys do a fire sale of all tradeable assets except, perhaps, Valancunas and Ross as rookies not yet contaminated. Ed, Bargnani, DeRozan, Lowry, Amir should bring some youth and/or picks. Calderon will expire in the summer, Kleiza could be amnestied or whatever. 5. Suck, suck and suck until you give the new brass enough chances to draft potential stars. 6. Bring in a GREAT coach to teach those potential stars how to play together and let him do it for at least 2-3 seasons without altering the core much. 7. Pray it works and we become OKC or Memphis. Applause? ![]() |

this team doesn't lack balance, whatever that is. It's not a bad looking roster, definitely not a 4-18 roster. |

As a fan, sadly, I was reduced to sitting there laughing at this team.
Maybe worse and sadder, teams used to sit and laugh at the Raps during beat-downs. Now a lot of these teams feel sorry enough for and indifferent enough to this franchise not to even bother. |

Unfortunately, it was a half-assed rebuild. Partly because of BC's need to get back in contention before his contract is up. Should have traded Bargs, caldy and dd for high picks and relief. Then we'd have Val, Ross and future potential to look forward to right now.
