Default Italy vs France - 77 \ 80

Italy lost the first official match for the qualification to the european tornaument. Actually it'll be really difficoult to reach the target of the qualification, so our players will be availlable probably earlier this summer (sigh).

For the record, a really good match for Belinelli with 25pt carring the team on his shoulders, Bargnani had not many balls in his hands for making something good and left the court with 10pt.

Edit: I read it now, BC and Gherardini were watching the match.

Bargnani with no balls! Not possible, the Italian coach must not of been running any plays for him.

Yes, i know, but really, the coach is an idiot and have no games designed for Bargs, but he had the ball in his hands in some of the crucial point of the match and putted it in the basket.
And despite he played well on defence he had some foul trouble in the first half.

No, he's Italian, he just coaches a Spanish club team.

Italy's coach is Carlo Recalcati.

Is he better than Messina?

Why isn't Messina coaching? Is it his choice or was not even considered.

Messina's the cream of the crop, it seems. But I think that possibly in Italy you can't be coach of the national team and a club team at the same time, and Messina chose to remain a club team coach.

It's certainly that way in soccer, I'm not sure about basketball.. it would make sense though

Some countries let the national coach also coach a club, some dont. Messina is one of the best in europe along with Aito Garcia Reneses and Sergio Scariolo, maybe he didnt even want the job. There are many to choose from, the coach doesnt need to be Italian. For example Spains current coach is Scariolo who is Italian.

I'm not liking what is going on with Bargnani in the summer. I guess JO really motivated him last summer and now without him he is back to "year 2" Bargs

(why do Raptors players always need so much motivating!?)

Bargnani is already overpaid then lol.

Tanjevic coaches both Turkish national team and a club that is Fenerbahįe. A lot of people woud love to rid of him though. He is weird.

bellineli sure like to shoot, including the FTs he seems to have finished 22 shots, as opposed to 10 for andreea ... I think the italian coach is a moron for not exploiting the mismatch of turiaf guarding andreea

hmmm

bargnani only scoring 10 while belinelli drops 25

good to see belinelli doing his thing, not too impressed with Bargs only scoring 10 points though, consistency is his number one issue, and yeah
