Default Intro Music For 10/11 Raptor Home Games

thought it would kind of fun to speculate or suggest what you think should be played during the team intros this year

i've always imagined the opening of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare For The Common Man" bellowing out after the lights go down (just to set the mood)
then somehow switching over to the last part of AC/DC's "Shoot To Thrill" when the video starts rolling on the scoreboard

the first 1:46 of Fanfare (houselights down with a few revolving spotlights)

and start at the 3:24 mark of Shoot with video playing

thats mine...what would be your choice of music ?

Regular Every day theme song

For Special Family Nights

and for when the Raptors play in Miami, replace Will Smith's head with Chris Bosh's head.

I would really like to see them use an Arcade Fire song. Ready to Start is new and hot and happening, while being somewhat applicable to the introduction of the starting lineup. It's got the right energy and it could even be looked at as being part of introducing an entirely new era.

Of course the subject matter of the lyrics, aside from the title, don't quite work, but they could use the last minute of the song for the video, and then loop the instrumental part at the beginning of the song. Or they could just commission the band to record a suitable version, and make a big deal about how the proceeds are going to Haiti, which the band would have no problem with - having pledged 1 million of their touring earnings. Would it be so hard to do something that speaks to local culture, while straying away from the usual corporate crossover promotions?

Honestly, I don't care so much for the intro song. I just wanna see more enthusiasm when they are introduced. Maybe a dance move or two. Perhaps a dice roll or a jump in the air high five. I know some of you have been thinking the same.

With Bosh gone there will be alot more enthusiasm. Bosh is not enthusiastic at all, and has no charisma. Some leader..

I wouldn't question Bosh's ability to lead based on this dancing. But true, he could not dance. Vince I remember danced sometimes. We need more dancers.

Yeah and maybe when they dunk, they can pull out a sharpy and sign the ball.

I think that's a bit extreme. Let's start with maybe a few fist pumps or towel throwing after the dunks. Camera stare downs. If we win the match, then maybe they can bring out the sharpie.

Remember last season when the players on the bench waived their towels and danced on the sidelines, some here nearly had a conniption saying how unprofessional it was.

I love how you used the word conniption in a sentence about being professional. That was impressive. Well I wasn't here last year, but I think more people would like to see a young team build team chemistry.

That's debatable. A lot of solid teams that played like a team used various ways of building team chemistry.

young guns the movie soundtrack

Bon Jovi "Blaze of Glory" just use the instrumental maybe speed it up a little, maybe a hip hop feel

its sound bad ass, best part it has young guns in the hook, this team will live and die with the Young Gunz

i'm also down for the inception instruemental but i prefer to wait until we have a winning team and make it our song every year after that

Anyone have a list of what they used this year?

And who picks them? Team captain? So does that mean Bargs gets a say in it?

It's still a bit early, but I would go with Up All Night by Drake. You have to make a lot of edits though to make it appropriate
